Abroad or India for long term?

I have a good career going on currently but due to legal issues created by my wife in our marriage, I am skeptical as to what my future is. Will I get to permanently settle abroad (USA, UK, Singapore) or will have to return back to India. I have worked very hard to make my name in USA, now due to my wife, I had to undergo legal process, which is over, but has left a police record. I fear this may affect my immigration status. Please advise if I should plan to return or can stay longterm abroad so I can be ready for outcome. Thankyou
