No success in career, need lifestyle remedies

Hello all,

I'm currently living in France, we will be moving to America in 1-1.5 yrs. I've always been directionless and have trouble making decisions related to my career. I have the opportunity to restart from scratch in a new country. I would like to know which career will atleast satisfy my need desire and provide me with a sense of ambition and purpose.
Also, if someone can tell me what the next year looks like in terms of getting a job.
