Career Guidance

I have started my career in Software Industry. In my career, I am hardly confronted with problems that are related to computer engineering. What I do in my job is basically building programs on top of other layers of software built by someone else. Generally after hardware, first layer is Operating System(like windows, linux, mac), then comes different layers such as Programming Languages(Java, C++) Framework, different tools to ease your task etc. I as a software engineer utilises these softwares and build programs on top of it to solve problems of real world.

Most problems I faced in my career is related to soft skills with my Manager. I left my last job due to this and also my last to last job. Currently I am jobless and preparing for new job. Can anyone give me good career advise.
