From Lagna the Lagna lord Mercury is placed in the 7th.
From MOON the 7th lord Mars is aspecting the 7th house.
Out of three papa grahas in the 8th ,Saturn is in own rasi and is less harmful.
Further a strong Jupiter is aspecting the 8th house.
Venus in the 9th is a blessing also.
Overall situation is good and I feel you need not worry much on issues what people told you.
