You are right that Mercury Mahadasha will be very good for you and it will give you more property and wealth than you have now.

I don't think you should wear neelam (blue sapphire), as Saturn is malefic in your 10th house of career, though it's good for your abroad related matters and is your Lagna Lord. But blue sapphire is enhancing your career-related problems.

Emerald and diamond are alright for you.

The dates you have given coincide with the coming of Saturn-Jupiter, while Saturn-Rahu gave you good result.

This shows in your chart -Jupiter is afflicted with Rahu. Besides, Mars is malefic as it adversely aspects your 9th house of Bhagya. Jupiter-Rahu combination is not good.

Besides, in current transit since May this year, (Gochar), Rahu-Ketu are malefic in your 4-10 axis, causing problems in career and property-related matters. They will become benefic from December 2012.

Your overall situation will improve from December 2012 onwards and after Mercury Mahadasha begins, you will rise to great heights.

Do the following daily -

1 - In the morning light 3 ghee diyas facing East, North and North-East.

2 - After invoking Ganesha, recite Hanuman Chalisa, Vishnusahasranama, Shri Suktam from Rig Veda and recite Durga Saptashati daily, reciting one chapter each day and repeating the cycle (see proper method of doing this in the link below and follow this method).

Alternatively, you can ask a learned priest to recite Durga Saptashati in both Navaratras and perform Saptashati Havan following the recital. Recite other hymns yourself, ending your Puja with Devi Suktam from Rig Veda.

3 - In the evening, light a mustard oil or til oil diya, facing West.

4 - Recite Dasharatha Shani Stotra.

5 - Feed crows daily. Do regular charity for poor, orphans, handicapped, menial workers etc. Offer sindur to Hanuman on Tuesdays.

I said above Jupiter is afflicted with Rahu and Mars adversely aspects your 9th house. Besides, Mars is also placed with Rahu in 2nd house of wealth. This is the reason for your wealth status and you need to do the remedies suggested above. Your Venus is the one that has been giving you wealth through business so far.

Iron ore business may not be fruitful for you because Mars adversely aspects your 9th house. You will be better off dealing with food and hospitality, Ayurvedic cosmetics, gemstones, heritage-related business, travel to exotic locations, TV and media channels, photographic equipment, market research consultancy and anything to do with arts, communication and finance. Sooner or later you will be connected to foreign clients again.

the remedies suggested above are for wealth. You can add to the morning recitations Kanakadhara Stotram for Lakshmi if you like, along with Shri Suktam.
