Speech delay in child

Karaka for speech, Mercury, is in mrita avastha as is the lord of the 2nd house, Venus, and occupies the 8th house. The latter loses the planetary war also to the former. The combination is with Rahu who is also in the nakshatra of Mercury. The house is aspected by both Saturn and Mars. Mercury is also the rogakaraka and Saturn is badhaka. Ketu occupies the 2nd house and aspected by the planets in the 8th.

Dasa of Venus, a maraka lord, is in progress. Antara of Rahu started in August 2013. This antara as well as the others to follow connect to Rahu, Ketu or Mercury somehow.

You need to consult a doctor as the dasa system offers no immediate relief. Pray to Lord Ganapati and recite Vishnu sahasra nama daily.

This change of time brings it more strongly into a case of balarishta. Moon in a dusthana and lagna afflicted.

Venus now becomes the rogakaraka by ownership of the 6th house and a maraka by virtue of occupation of the 7th. It is defeated by Mercury in the planetary war. Both are in mrita avastha as before. Mercury becomes a maraka. Mars who is in the rasi of Sun, goes deeper into gandanta. Since Mars aspects Mercury and the starting dasa is of Sun, the case is nearly a case of birth defect (congenital sickness)

Perform the remedies as suggested in my earlier post. Since now Sun becomes a rogakaraka by occupation of the 6th and is activated by dasa lord Venus, recite Aditya Hridaya Stotra also daily. Finally, Saturn is the nakshatra lord of dasa lord Venus, aspects the 2nd house and influences the sade sati effects. Sade Sati has started for the chart in Nov last year. Read Hanuman Chalisa too.

Please help. My son is 3.5 years old, born prematurely at 7 months on 17-09-2011, time- 21:16 at Bangalore, Karnataka. He spoke around 20-30 words and even used to point at objects. Even called Ma, baba, dadu etc. Now for last 2 months he has stopped everything, only responds to few things that he is interested in like chocolates, tv etc. I am very confused and worried. Kindly let me know a solution.

Lagna lord and second Lord are both in debilitation. Lagna is in the nakshatra of the 2nd lord. Mercury, the karaka for speech is also in the nakshatra of the second lord Venus and in papakartari yoga. Mercury is rogakaraka too. Venus, Sun and Saturn are also rogakarakas by virtue of occupation of the 6th house.

Antara of Mercury started from Dec 2014 and the problems could have started at that time. The subsequent antaras and dasas are also not favourable. Retro Jupiter which is also in the nakshatra of Venus is unable to protect.

Perform a shanti for Venus and take medical aid.

Start reading Maha Lakshmi stuti[http://joyfulslokas.[NO EXTERNAL LINKS PLEASE].in/2010/08 ... stuti.html] from a shukla paksha Friday and read it in the mornings for 48 days facing east with a dhiya lit from ghee and in the evenings offer fruits to a cow[Do this daily for 48 days]. At the end of the chant perform a shukra homa in a temple in the morning and the same evening do an abhisheka to Maha Lakshmi with honey.

Things will improve.

Thanks for your reply. I have just one thing to ask. Shall I have to perform the shukra homa in the temple every Friday or once 48 days are over? At the end of every day chant or once 48 days are completed? Please help me to understand. I have no idea actually.

He is born under the major period of the SUN weak in the house of Mercury and now he is in the antar dasa of malefic Mercury rules speech. The planet Ketu in 2nd and its aspects are causing obstacles for him. Consider doing remedies for Ketu. Take him to speech therapy classes.

1. Lagna lord and karaka for speech, Mercury, is in debilitation though in own nakshatra. Rahu aspects Lagna.
2. Bhava madhya of the 2nd Bhava is also Mercury.
3. 6th lord Mars is in the 6th from the 6th i.e. the 11th house. It makes the cure of a roga difficult. Mars is combust as well.
4. Nakshatra lord of Mars is Ketu who occupies the 6th amsa in Navamsa.
5. Mars and Saturn aspect the 2nd house.
6. Moon is isolated with no planets on either side. Its sign dispositor Sun is exalted and is with the nakshatra lord of Moon i.e. Venus. The combination is joined by Mars, the rogakaraka, is along the Rahu- Ketu axis and is aspected by Saturn.
7. Rahu in the 5th with Saturn and aspected by Mars causes Sarpa Shapa.

Considering the above, it is desirable that a doctor be consulted. Sarpa Sanskara may be done. A shanti for Rahu and Ketu may also be done.

Venus dasa continues till 2021. In Venus dasa, Rahu, Saturn, Moon, Jupiter and Mars are also active. The current antara of Saturn will be followed by that of Mercury which will end in March 2020. The problem can be expected to persist till then. Performance of Sarpa sanskara and other remedial measures mentioned earlier are also needed.

No definitive comments can be made on the education of the child at this early age. Let the child complete 12 years of age.
