If the darapada lagna house is empty but it's Lord being retrograde Saturn is placed in seventh house , what can be inferred about the spouse...does it mean the wife will not be beautiful...like "unattractive" because Saturn is the darapada ? What does darapada or its Lord actually predict about the wife?..what information does it actually give ?

Jamini astrology works on a different level than Parashari astrology. Instead of planets we see here seven karaka (AK, AmK etc). Another tool is Arudh (which represents the maya associated with thatg house.. In other words how the world will perceive that house) Now unfortunately not much research has been conducted on Pada. Though we find mention of pada in BPHS to but few professional astrologer actually use it. One reason may be that it talks about intangible and felt concept of life not the actual physical one.
