Upapada Lagna in horoscope matching ?

Shri Sanjay Rath has laid a lot of emphasis on matching UL and lagna for marital compatibility. In many cases, this conflicts with the chandralagna match and its lordships. Which of the two deserve preference? Most Traditional astrologers don’t venture into UL etc for matching horoscopes. Request clarifications and opinions in this matter.

As per my experience, UL shd be used to determine the quality of marital life.
Marital compatibility shd be seen from other parameters.

I recall one incidence of our Astrology class. We asked this question to our teacher who taught us Marriage "When almost every marriage is solemnized after matching charts, why there are so many divorce cases everyday?"
Our teacher replied that Chart Matching is not a full proof process and along with (rather he said instead of Chart matching) one shd look for other worldly parameters for finalizing would be spouse.

Thank you Dr. Neeraj, It is true that nowadays worldly parameters and external factors have become the sole deciders of marriage. In fact, even excellent candidates are rejected for not matching in status, affluence or even city of residence. Marriage has become so hollow, God save us.
