Chara Dasa good or bad

Can somebody look at my current Chara Dasa and next one starting in 2014. I am still trying to learn Jamini using Dr. Neeraj's articles here and KN Rao books. I appreciate if you can give me astrological details so that I can learn as well.

With the given details I got Asc at 29-38
In next 2 min, ur lagna changes to Pisces.
I think before moving ahead we must ensure whether ur Lagna is correct.
In Jamini system, dasha always starts with Lagna hence if there is any change in Lagna then entire dasha system will change.

Dear Dr. Neeraj,

I have taken Aquarius as ascendant because my Sani Mahadasa was generally good (75% good and 25% bad).
Also I was told that both Lagna and Navamsa shows a male birth and if I have taken Pisces it both would be
showing a female birth.

Is there is confirmative way to find birth time and lagna ??

I am trying to learn Jamini. I have gone through your posts here, they are very good. Is there a way to systematically learn and predict using Jamini system (books, videos, classes etc.). This is the reason for asking about Chara dasa.

@Krishnan69; pl.note just because lagna &navamsa denote male birth ,so u had taken kumba lagna is not at all
scientific astrology. Dasa systems too cannot fix the gender when that too birth at last navamsa of any sign &
in ur case kumba.Many females having lagna&navamsa male signs &viceversa.Gender is determined at nadi level.
After studying ur chart with ur life events, i told u Meena lagna which got confirmed with the ur wedding date.

@srcs - Actually I am looking at the horoscope as a whole and trying to explain my life events. What I understood was that chara dasa can closely predict life events, like birth of my kids, death of father etc. So I am trying to check whether the Chara Dasas match my life events.

Also as Neeraj indicated Aquarius or Pisces lagna will change the Chara dasa calculation also. This is another confirmation that which lagna I should take.

@Krishnan; jaimini chara dasa is based on Rasi & it has many rules.There is no unaminity on certain rules on
reckoning years.There is no authoritative stamp on this unlike Vimshoddari which all classicals agree/same.
In my experience Sri BVRaman's Rules agree for some natives while for some Sri KN Rao's rules agree &for some
both agree .yet for some one agrees&otherdenies. It is much like ayanamsa confusion.But no doubt jaimini
dasa system is very unique.As i posted elsewhere in other forum here,Vimshoddari is a tested one & it is based
on many variables/Parameters frame work as reference.

I agree to srcs. Jamini system is used as an support tool. It gives us a rough time frame which shd be briefed by Vimshottari dasha. However there are certain thumb rules, which gives instant results (which I've mentioned in my articles).
But the exact prediction you've to enter into minute details comprising to 2-3 dasha + transits.

Both lagnas of D-1 & D-9 gives male native is totally misleading. I know so many gals whose both lagnas are odd signs.
We must confirm this by matching ur life events.

@srcs - I cud not find the life events of Krishnan in this post. Is there any other post too where he has given his details?

Here is my info
DOB 09-08-1969 (August 9th) 20:55 at Trichur, Kerala

Father's death - 05-05-1988.
Marriage date is 17-01-1996.
Kids born 29-08-2001 girl and 21-01-2005 boy.

Also I see three different methods for Calculating Chara dara. Which is the method you use.
