Prediction Rule for Jamini: Step by Step (Part8 Arudh Lagna)

What is Arudh Lagna (AL)?
AL is Arudh Lagna i.e. Pada for 1H.

Rules for Counting Pada:
From the rashi, count till its lord. Lets say its x. Then from the lord (taking it as first) count x ahead. The house reached is Pada of that sign. Pada of Lagna is called Arudh lagna.

e.g. In Leo Lagna, if LL Sun is in 5H (Sagittarius). From Lagna to Sagittarius (5H) counting is 5 (i.e. x=5) Now from from Sagittarius (where LL Sun is posited) count 5 ahead & we reach Aries. Aries is AL. Analyse taking Aries as Lagna.

There're 1 exception here: Pada can't be there in same rashi or in 7th from it. So In those cases where planet is in own sign or 7th from it, 10 from rashi is considered Pada.
Ex: If Sun is in Leo then Leo will be Pada. But coz of exception we take 10th from Leo and Taurus is Pada.
Ex: For Leo lagna, Sun in Aquarius will make Pada in Leo. So count 10 from leo and Taurus is Pada.

Likewise If any planet is in 4H or 10H from its sign then the Pada goes to 4th to rashi..
Ex: For Leo lagna if LL Sun is in 4H (Scorpio). Now counting from Leo to Scorpio it is 4. Counting 4 ahead of Scorpio is Aquarius. But since Pada can't be in 7th from sign, hence count 10th from here it again comes Scorpio. Scorpio is Pada here.

Ex: For Leo Lagna Sun is in 10H (taurus). Now counting from Leo to Taurus it is 10. Counting 10 ahead of Taurus is Aquarius. But since Pada can't be in 7th from sign, hence count 10th from here it again comes Scorpio. Scorpio is Pada here.

Use of AL:
AL analysis tells about Maya associated with self i.e. how others perceive this person. Lagna tells about how this person is in reality. "A timid and confused individual may be perceived in the world as a strong leader. In that case, that is the maya associated with his personality and AL shows it."

Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha once mentioned in an interview that Amitabh appears so confident & decisive on screen but in real life he's very indecisive and confused. We must check chart of amitabh. It may be his AL is strong than Lagna.
