I would like to add that Libra is also where her AL and A7 are present...
My question is why didnt the marriage happen during libra period itself...?
The period had good aspects and everything...Scorpio would have GK aspect in Navamsa...
Was the health of the girl not good during the libra period..or some loss to the parental figure?
Still learning Jaimini, so forgive if I have made any wrong statements.

Your observations are quite correct. But I've never worked on Timing of events using AL or A7.
All I know (from the books of Sanjay Rath) that AL (Pada of Lagna) and A7 (Pada of 7L) placements determine the marital harmony (Ex: their placement in mutual 6/8 or 2/12 axis is never gud).
One other issue I'm still struggling is many a times native got the dasha of rashi containing DK but marriage happens only once. Why so? So in my experience I've seen that something or the other do happen related to marital affairs, (Like for this gal marriage was fixed in Libra AD) but perhaps we need more combination to pronounce when marriage will take place in actual?
I'm also a struggling student of Astrology. I remember of always complaining that in Jamini astrology all rashi are aspecting each other all the times then how come an event takes place on that particular time? Actually the purpose of writing this series on Jamini was just to share my experiences with other students of Jamini astrology. At times Jamini astrology gives very simple & fast indication of what is about to happen (At least the broad areas from life) which we can fine tune using otgher dasha systems.

What I understood by using Jaimini Astrology was that the possibility of marriage differed during periods...India has a history of having child marriage, but now that arrangement has been termed illegal, that probably shows during a good marriage period during the teenage/childhood times...
It is wide known that Sagittarius period brings ups and down in persons life...I noticed that Aries period usually bring new initiative to the person...Now that has made me wondering whether leo period also has some characteristic(being the third Fire Elemental Sign?)

Computing the Chara dasha periods
In calculating the periods I neither add one extra year for exalted planet nor deduct one extra for debilitated period for the following reasons:
1) Since there are only twelve rashis, so the maximum dasha period can be of twelve years only. If Mercury is at two degrees in Kanya,by adding one year to full twelve year period it will become thirteen.
2) If Jupiter is at two degrees in Makara, for the Dhanu period the period will be zero which appears absurd to me as no rashi can have zero period. Additionally, Dhanu periods are known for rise and fall, sudden events and even tragedies. If in a horoscope there is a zero year for it, some important events cannot be seen at all is my experience.
3) In timing events in horoscopes which have exalted and debilitated planets as in the case of Queen Elizabeth II and Chandrasekhar, the former prime minister of India, I will show how following my method, timing of events becomes accurate.

Though the calculation of Jamini are quite simple and with pracice u can do them even without notebook and pen but use of software is also gud. While using JHora plz ensure to change the setting of Jamini dash acalculation to KN Rao system.
Else the softwares are designed for Parashari calculations.
Sh KN Rao has written a second book on Advance use of Jamini system too, which is a must read for the Jamini users.
