Greetings.

I would like to know is Rahu in 3rd house or 4rth.
How do I know whether 1st house starts from moon or lagna ascendant. I understand Rahu in Gemini is exalted. Is it right.

HI aspa73paa, I Understand that Rahu in 3rd house is good where as Rahu in 4rth house is bad based on some online articles. So which one I have to consider from Moon or either Lagna(Ascedant).

Online articles mentions Rahu in 3rd house gives distant travel and money. Is it true?

Generally, Rahu does well in 3rd house. 3rd house deals with communication, writing, short distance travelling, courage, parakram, younger siblings. Rahu in 3rd house makes a person good with communication and become very manipulative. It can also make a person take frequent short distance travels.
Rahu in the sign of cancer can make a person emotional about 3rd house things
Placement of other planets in the horoscope should also be considered for overall results

1st house is where the Ascendant is. Natal chart uses Lagna. Use Lagna to determine houses, lordship, strengths etc.

For transit analysis, moon is considered. Example: Sade Sati is with respect to moon.

Also when looking at charts, depending on what I am looking at, I sometimes do analysis from the perspective of Lagna, Sun, Moon and Dasha Lord.

Could you please tell me if Rahu is good or not? I am using Jagannadha Hora, in this Transits tab its showing Rahu as Parama Mitra(Good Friend), so I believe other than Venus(Pratyak) remaining all planets are good for me.
