I use both Jaganatha Hora & Parasara Light. But for exactly same Ayanamsa/Lat/Long I see difference.
1) PL & JH -> I see difference in position of Sun in D9
2) PL & JH -> I see difference in Chara Dasa. I tried around with all settings but will not match.
1) Which software is accurate ?
2) Is there a recommended settings for Lahiri Ayanmasa, e.g. True/Mean planets, especially Rahu/Ketu, Solar disc middle as sun rise time etc.
Thank you,
/Krishnan

In addition to value of precession due to differences in the date for coincidence between the tropical and sidereal zodiac -- which gives the different values (Lahiri, Raman, KP etc) there is also a further factor that many folks do not take into consideration. This is the annual rate of change in precession. Some (usually older or ancient) use a constant rate of 54" per year (as given by Sri Yukteshwar Giri in his book, The Holy Science). Usha Shashi's book on mathematical aspects (not exact title) gives a detailed table along with many other aspects of jyotish (Ganit limb).

Can you provide me the link for jyotishya deepika to install it ? I hope they are paid right ? [quote=astrostar post_id=250267 time=1514902136 user_id=18924]
Use "KP star one" or "Jyotishya Deepika" software.
Change Settings to use mean nodes, and KP ayanamsa.
