Question about accurate birth time

Post by tanmish » 15 Jun 2015

Hi all,

A friend delivered a baby via C-section, her first and only child till now This was after a prolonged difficult labor where the baby's head got stuck at just the wrong time.... Ob-Gyn staff had to intervene, normal delivery was cancelled, they prepped her and did a C-section. That much, she knows. what is unclear is what was/is exact birth time.

What is the correct birth time in this case - time the baby is extracted? Cleaned up/scrubbed..? Or when the umbilical cord is cut? Can anyone help? Or is the time the baby actually cries since it signifies live-birth as opposed to DOA.

Needless to say neither the family nor hospital recorded a TOB..... :!: that poor little baby LOL

Re: Question about accurate birth time

To understand actual time of birth properly, first understand what is death? or when and how the death actually happens? or what is the actual time of death?
When one’s respiration or breath stops completely or permanently, it is known as the death. At that moment soul (jeevathma) leaves the body and loses the relationship with body, nature and environment. But the body still exists on the earth, and it lonely continues the relationship with nature. Hence the decomposition of the body starts.

Now let us understand what is the actual Time of Birth
Inside the womb the fetus does not respire. The fetus lives in a surrounding of 37 degrees Celsius i.e. body temperature of the mother. At birth the baby is suddenly exposed to room temperature i.e. around 25 to 30 degrees. The fall of around 7 to 12 degrees in temperature makes to contract and respiration begins through lungs. This is the scientific reason that the baby begins to respire. We call a baby begins to be alive when it takes its first breath. After the first breath, generally any baby can behave in the following 2 ways.

a) some babies begin to cry after first breath
[Note: In order to start crying one should first take at least one breath]
b) some begin to cry after some time for e.g. 2 minutes or 7 minutes after the first breath.

In any of the above 2 cases, one should ascertain only that time, when the child took the “First Breath”. The moment of Birth is the First Breath of the Baby and Not the first cry. After the first breath, lungs start working in the child’s body. Don’t blindly note the first cry time. Because “First Cry” may or may not necessarily coincide with the “First Breath”.

Let us know what happens in Hospital.

in the first case – a, the birth time mentioned by hospital staff, always becomes right. in the second case – b, the hospital staff unknowingly decide the baby’s “First Cry Time” as baby’s actual “Birth Time”, which becomes always wrong. Because – the first cry is very easily found. but the first breath cannot be easily noticed by any of the hospital staff.

Sometimes due to some reason, at birth, the baby’s respiration may not begin (room temperature is nearly same as mother’s body temperature in summer time or no AC etc.) or they may not cry. So again there are 2 cases.

– Some babies’ respiration does not start automatically at birth
– Some babies’ respiration starts at birth, but they do not cry at all

Here in both the cases, doctors do different things so that babies begin to cry (only starts after first breath). examples –
– sinking half of the baby’s body in water for a second
– a very small hit or pinch on legs or hands etc.

Hence on many occasions, Birth Time Rectification (BTR) becomes mandatory. If one does not follow the correct birth time, then his/her horoscope will not be accurate. So the future predictions made based on this inaccurate horoscope, do not come true. So one has to ask the astrologer to verify the birth time. Astrology science has enough techniques to rectify the birth time.

To know more about fetus and its progress/growth, better take the help of biological science.

For Birth Time rectification, there are books available in KP astrology; they give short cut techniques.

The original method is Pre-Natal-Epoch. this is a long process. But superior to all methods.

Let us know what happens in Hospital.

Dear Astrostar,

Very nice, and comprehensive and thoughtful posting.

One note, if I may. Many of the modern hospital and nursing home health-care professionals tend not to believe in or give serious attention to the importance of astrology. Partly due to their remaining wrapped and immersed in Newtonian Science Realm. Additionally, some obstetricians and ob. nurses (who generally record the time of birth (or ideally the stages of labour which hold clinical significance and hence have obstetrical and perinatal outcomes; so more than one epochs during any delivery) -- feel a little inconvenienced because of astrologer's advice in the case of planned c-sections (caesarian births) which then dictate the time of the procedure and can make the care-givers (labour staff) to perform the procedures at night or odd hours. This occurs more in certain countries and communities and not worldwide, of course.

Due to the many situational contingencies arising during even "normal" labours, quite often the time of deliveries gets noted approximately even if the time-piece or clock is calibrated accurately. So rectification is the responsible thing for astrologers to carry out, particularly in situations where cuspal birth charts are under scrutiny and it is particularly important to rely on the stated birth-times during web or real-space astrological consultations. Many a times, these birth-times come from the recollection of parents or relatives and others, etc who were present at the time of birth. Particularly, if the nativity happens to be someone who got curious about astrology during the second decade or later in life and tries to get the time of birth!

Just to emphasize that the above I say based on my personal observations going back to ~1970 and thereafter of witnessing many deliveries in labour ward settings at home and abroad.

Thanks.

Birth is prana utsarjan which is based on Nishecka lagna. However, the earthly birth means interaction with Panchabhootas and prana through nostrils in mortal earthly atmosphere. The bhootas are there before, but interaction with earthly atmosphere is important which is not possible until the fetus is fully grown and is out of mother's womb. So as indicated by Shri Astrostar the birth time is when first breath is taken. This breath is vital because Vayu leads to vital movements in nadis.
