Can someone please advise on the use of gemstones do retrograde planets?
I am a libra ascendant with retrograde Venus in the 4th house (capricorn). I was advised to wear a diamond but have had dreams of burglaries in my house since I have begun wearing this. For reference, I am wearing this on my ring finger.
By all accounts, the diamond should suit me. Are the rules for stones different for retrograde planets?

in your case it's best not to use any gems whatsoever, as they may only worsen the situation. It probably wiser to attempt doing volunteer work (selfless service) in your free time, especially in organizations involving teaching children and saving abused women. Helping these causes can improve your situation significantly.
