For home nimajjan purpose, the idol must be made with natural clay which is water soluble, and not be painted with synthetic colors.
Use a clean bucket, and fill it with clean water, slowly put the clay idol inside it, and add few flowers by chanting mantra. After the Idol is completely dissolved, pour the mud water to plants and trees.
