Higher Rudrakshas - Fifteen Face and Above - Only Worn by Gods?

Post by Khoo Hock Leong » 08 Jun 2018

Hi Learned Members

This was quoted by one of the websites from the scriptures as recommended by our Rishis. The site went on to explain if these rudrakshas are put in the home alter, the wjole family would benefit.

Can we then still put these Rudrakshas on?

Before we touch on that, other scriptures recommend thst the alter at home should not have idols of Gods at home, not in excess anyway of a certain quota for specific pooja items : a picture of a God instead would dl nicely if you cannot keep count.

Again we discuss this topic with reference to the Vedic chart and the Advaita philosophy that we are all part of God.

Advaita philosophical quest is only satisfied only if the person is an enlightened soul. So these rudrakshas if put on would be more useful for someone who is an enlightened being.

The body being a temple for God, even if one is not an enlightened being, you can still put these on. The degree of benefit obtained would commrnsurate with how enlightened you are.

On the other hand if you put these in the family altar, the 2nd house in the Vedic chart, the family benefits and yourself additionally the 2nd house being the 2nd to the 1st.

2nd house is the expansion of the 9th house, being the 6th of the 9th. The family altarhelps to cull from the full pantheon of Gods of the 9th, into a select group of Gods which is beneficial for your fmily to worship.

So you can put these Rudrakshas on, or put them in the family altar.
