Should You Hang a Picture of Taj Mahal in Your House?

Post by Khoo Hock Leong » 14 Mar 2018

Hi Learned Members

I read with skepticism an article in the net to say that hanging a picture of Taj Mahal on the net is very inauspicious. Because although it looks very beautiful, it represents a grave which Aurangzeb has built for his wife, so it reprsents death.

I thought about it with reference to our Vedic chart.

The 4th house represents graves and tombstones. But it is auspicious and it does not represent death.

The maraka houses of 2nd and 7th reprsents death and the dusthanas of 6th, 8th, 12th are inauspicious. 3rd, a minor dusthana, in most cases is auspicious but can be inauspicious too depending on the planet involved. 8th rules the manner of death and both 8th and 12th can spell death too.

4th is the 5th of the 12th so it represents deep sleep before one comes to the 8th which is the 5th of the 4th, where we encounter our mode of death. 2nd is the 11th of 4th, so any gains in deep sleep may result in death. The 4th lord should in theory, not be related too closely with the 2nd lord.

7th is the 4th of the 4th. Death can be considered a higher form of deep sleep.

4th related to dusthanas, you have troubles recovering from your deep sleep, and with 8th and 12th, it may result in death. Don't forget 4th represents your old age so that people can die from their sleep which is a peaceful mode of death.

But in general 4th represents happiness, where your memories of your loved ones stay on forever - 4th is the 3rd of the 2nd, the house of all your family members.

4th gives succour, is pure white like the Taj Mahal, the nectar that makes life worth living.

So if your 4th lord is not afflicted, hanging the Taj Mahal in your house would enable you to usher in your old age with happiness, to grow old gracefully so to speak.

If your 4th lord is the Moon or is related to the Moon, and is not afflicted, hanging the Taj Mahal in your house may even help you to cure any sleeping disorders that you may have.

The Moon clears the respiratory tract just like Krishna (the Moon) moves the mountain to block the oncoming rain (Saturn) that was pelting the villagers. Taj Mahal represents the Moon, which houses Aurangzeb's wife. Moon represents your mate in general, like Venus, even the husband, as they govern the relationship part of your mate.
