Can you please suggest anything for my parents, both of them, they do not get along at all and are always constantly fighting and arguing. My father always thinking of something about his daughters not giving any to him and my mother suffered alot of abuse through him. We are 2 duaghters and no sons. We both settled in US and parents live in India. Parents have no problems at the finance end and well settled. They have a million dollar home and so they are living there. Father worked in Central govt and retired. So, financially sound. Unfortunately son-in-laws don't talk to my parents. My mother always does pujas to Lalitha devi and she is very disciplined in all the matters. Because of my mother only, we 2 sisters are well educated and settled with good job here in US. My father always looks at negative side and he is not good natured when comes to females. Once my mom came to US and my father misbehaved with female maid-servant. My mom got to know about this when she went back to India. So, both of them, they are living in the same house, but my mother is not talking to my dad as before. and Yes, there is distance between them. Now, he is saying to my mom to get out of the house whenever he gets angry. She always thinks that god is there to help her whatever may be the situation.

But topaz is certainly a substitute for it, though its power is less, hence 9 carats i.e. 10 rattis.

Thank you so much for response for my daughter, but please help me with my second daughter as I am very worried about her! She has gone down alot in studies and does not like to study she has been spending all her time sitting down and listening to music and doing fashion (ie lipstick, makeup) all day long and has developed a very rude personality! A general word to the treaders of this thread. Many mantras and gemstones are being prescribed as remedies without much research and indepth knowledge by many practitioners whom i do not want to name. They prescribe the panchankshari mantra as a remedy - but when they write the mantra they write it six sylabled. Some prescribe the shadaskhari mantra with seven syllables and so on. Blissfuly unaware that they accrue a part of the sin for prescribing gemstones that cause vibrations in the body of the native to commit certain acts unawares, they prescribe gemstones carelessly. Please take care. Gemstones really work, and if a wrong gemstone is worn it will cause harm to the native that wears it AND the astrologer the prescibes it. The astrologer that prescribes a remedy owns the responsibility of making sure that the native that receives the advice is really prepared for it. if not, it affects the prescriber adversely. for this reason I have thus far not participated in prescription of gemstones to anybody - even my closest friends. An astrologer unless an trikalagnaani cannot merely with scriptural knowledge prescribe remedies of gemstones easily. there are scriptural differences between various schools and the wrong gem is going the harm both, the native and the astrologer. If possible, perform a havan for either Lakshmi-Narayan every Purnima or Chandi Havan with Durga Suktam every Shukla Paksha Ashtami, in addition to reciting hymns.

All men and women should be clean in mind, spirit and body to recite the mantras.

Whether men or women - they should not recite the mantras when not clean. Hence, when you are not bathed, wearing soiled clothes or during monthly cycles should not recite the mantras yourself. Same applies for men - when they are wearing soiled clothes, not bathed or not clean for any reason, they should not recite the mantras.

You should be clean in mind, spirit and body, bathe, wear clean clothes, sit in a clean environment while reciting mantras.

Even men, if they are not clean in mind, spirit or body, should not recite the mantras.

And this relates to all mantras, not only Vedic ones.

Otherwise there are no restrictions on anyone.

However, when you are not clean, you can listen to the video or audio recordings of the mantras. you should focus your attention on the recording, stay within the range of the sound and not engage in conversation, talk on phone etc. while listening to recording.

Please note that recordings being musical in nature, take much longer to recite a hymn than you would take to recite them yourself. But your daily observance of reciting/listening to mantras will not be discontinued because of biological reasons.

You need to recite Hanuman Chalisa, any hymn for Vishnu and Lakshmi daily. If you do this, you can recite Vishnu Sahasra Nama on a Sunday or on any day when you have more time. Do follow it up with a hymn for Lakshmi and Hanuman Chalisa.

While reciting a hymn, it's your devotion and willpower that matter, not the particular hymn. So, whatever hymn you choose to recite, do it with devotion and determination and not just by way of ritual.

Besides, do Lakshmi Narayana Homam every Purnima, in addition to the above.

Wear emerald 4.5 carats and one of these - 1) diamond 2.7 carats, 2) White Sapphire 4.5 carats, or 3) Opal 9 carats, both set in gold.

Offer water to the rising Sun daily. If possible, fast on Sundays. During fast, you can eat all vegetarian food without salt.
