While reciting a hymn, it's your devotion and willpower that matter, not the particular hymn. So, whatever hymn you choose to recite, do it with devotion and determination and not just by way of ritual.

Besides, do Lakshmi Narayana Homam every Purnima, in addition to the above.

Wear emerald 4.5 carats and one of these - 1) diamond 2.7 carats, 2) White Sapphire 4.5 carats, or 3) Opal 9 carats, both set in gold.

Offer water to the rising Sun daily. If possible, fast on Sundays. During fast, you can eat all vegetarian food without salt.

I doubt If I can wear a gold ring.........

I also doubt I have enough resources to do any homam,,can you any suggest other remedies like going to orphanage or giving charity something like that.........My father is a christian so I doubt he would allow me to do any of the homams also buying rings...... my belief is that I may look like a weak minded fool.

Your advice would be grateful...plz understand my problem not trying to be offensive ...

Wear green and light pink coloured dresses more frequently.

Serve your mother as much as you can.

Teach 1) Fine art, music or jewellery making and 2) any language, maths and/or computer skills freely i.e., without taking any money to poor children.

Do Lakshmi Narayana Havan every Purnima. If you can't do havan, fast on every Purnima and pray to Lakshmi Narayana.

Offer milk to Shiva Linga on Mondays.

Recite Kalabhairava Ashtakam daily. Light a til oil diya facing West daily. Pray to Kala Bhairava on Saturdays, either in a temple or at home.

For me past 1-2 yrs it has been slightly tough going for me as professionally I have had some hiccups in my career. Things have been going downhill and still hvnt improved.

I have been always tried to recite Hanuman Chalisa since when I was very small. At times, I was not regular but I always try to do whenever I am able to. Past 1 year I have got more and more interested into reciting of shlokas, prayers. As per the very first post of yours in this thread, you have mentioned some remedies which everyone can do.

I wanted to know if there are some specific ones for each day, like for Monday maybe we can recite something to remember Lord Shiva. Do you think this makes sense or do you suggest that I just recite all the ones mentioned by you in the first post?

Also, are there any specific ones which you can suggest based on my birth details and the current phase?

it is very informative to read your articles and I would like to know if you could advise something about my husband who is without a job since March 2011. He has gone through lot of interviews but till now no success.

His dob is Nov 9, 1967, born in delhi at 5.30 pm, when do you think he should find work and in which field.
