The spirituality of India and the surroundings (including Tibet, thailand, indonesia etc.) defies the biased or limited information we get from internet search , encyclopedia , Books of Record or any other similar material.

the hermits of Indian sub-continent still live a lifestyle of sacrifice, they rarely speak or do miracles in public.

FYI, In the Autobiography of a Yogi, Paramahansa Yogananda talks of Babaji, his Guru's Param-Guru who is supposed to be more than 2000 years old.
