Ashtakavarga: Rahu and Ketu

I have found Ashtakavarga to be accurate in analysing past years in my life. Is it possible to use it with Rahu and Ketu dashas and antardashas?

Usually,shadow planets have been excluded,however,you may try for experiment.

Can you cite an example as to how you have used Ashtakavarga?

As for Rahu and Ketu - I am not sure whether you should treat them as Shani and Kuja
or as proxies for lords of the signs they occupy.

I am also curious to know how one uses ashtakavarga points of lagna.

My Saturn only has 3 points in Ashtakavarga, and during my Saturn MD there were difficulties in family, health, work and marriage, although according to BPHS everything should have been fairly neutral. Everything has been going very well in the last 6 years of my Ketu MD (Ke exalted in Sc in 9th). Apologies for the long delay in replying.

I have heard that Shri K N Rao advises using the points of dispositor of the nodes.
Not sure what the classics say though.
Example - if Rahu is in Gemini in natal chart, you can look at Mercury's points to assess Rahu's results.
I haven't tested it. This is just hear say. Please experiment before accepting it.
