Dont blame saturn for everything.Look deeply in your friends kundli.Other factors/other planet transits/dasa-bhukthi may also cause such events.

what is your moon degree and your friends.Before that dig well both of your charts for other factors.In Fact sade sathi effect depends on several factors and not simply as saturn enters in to 12th from moon.

How will this transit continue for me? There has not been much movement and while improved, disturbances continue at home creating lack of sleep. Health issues and treatment still pending and unravelling at snails pace. Really hoping to start school or move out or maybe a relationship if that's even in the cards. I'll take any change at this point but do I need to be patient and wait a little longer?

Saturn in Sagittarius transit will happen in my 5th house (Leo ascendant here) and it will be transiting over my Natal Ketu.

This year will also be my second Nodal Return (Ketu in P.Ashada in 5th house / Rahu in Ardra in 11th) and I recently entered my ascendant lord mahadasha.
