All the Guru Point Markers Transits

Post by Khoo Hock Leong » 09 Sep 2017

Hi Learned Members

Signs all discuss here are sidereal.

Chiron has entered Pisces where Venus is exalted and Jupiter rules (see the post on Chiron which I explained why it is important in Vedic Astrology).

Pluto is in Sagittarius, the only outer planet (other than Uranus and Neptune) whose effect is considerable on humanity. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter and Ketu.

Jupiter would be entering Libra in 3 days' time, a place where Venus rules and Saturn exalts (meaning active diplomacy) and where the Sun, a fiery planet, debilitates.

Rahu has entered Cancer with Ketu in Capricorn. Ketu follows Rahu lead generally for transit effects, so we will concentrate on Rahu. Mars, another fiery planet, debilitates in Cancer. Moon rules Cancer and Jupiter is exalted in Cancer.

Saturn would be entering Sagittarius soon, a sign as mentioned earlier, where Jupiter and Ketu rules.

For Sagittarius, Ketu is governed by Jupiter, unlike Scorpio where Ketu tends to listen to Mars. So it is good that Saturn switches from Scorpio to Sagittarius and also for Pluto to be in Sagittarius (most of the US Constitution was written at a time when Pluto was in Sagittarius - remember we are talking about sidereal signs here).

With so many slow moving planets passing through signs where the Guru planets, Venus and Jupiter hold sway, be prepared for a softer time ahead of us.

Pray for blessings and peace!!

Best Regards

As mentioned in one of my earlier posts, Sidereal Tansits also has the effect of affecting each individual natal chart differently. This is regardless whether the transit is by a natural malefic or natural benefic. It thus sometimes give contrary results to the general effects of transits (transits affecting humanity in general). But the general sidereal transit effects still stand.

Tropical signs general transit effects are dramatic. Like the US Constitution was also written when Pluto was in Capricorn, a sign dealing withe government structure. But the sidereal signs transit effects capture generally the essence of a specific period, like for example the constituion has something to do with the law and hece got something to do with Saggittarius.

Related to this issue of sidereal transits benefiting the whole of community, is the issue of how the Gods choose to bless which nation more. There are two ways.

One way is through the nation's chart. That is, the time and place where the nation was set up. This is electional astrology or muhurtha as you all know.

The second way is through the transits. Basically, the transit of switching signs would occur at an important marker of the 24-hour period. For example for Singapore, Jupiter would be switching to Libra at 6:40 am about 20 minutes before Sunrise where most of us would be "rise and shine" during the hours of the Sun. Our soul is more ready to accept the change of the Jupiterian energy including how its energy is going to impact us (Jupiter, or any planet, in different signs impacts us differently). This is in contrast to say, Jupiter entering Libra in a Country A, during the late afternoon where everybody just have a heavy lunch and being dead tired.

With Saturn still in Scorpio, Chiron in Pisces and Rahu in Cancer, the monsoon rainy season of South-East Asia seems to be brought in early with showers or heavy drizzle most of the time. But it will pass once Saturn enters Sagittarius.
