Mid Aug 2016 in India: A Time to watch.....

Dear Friends

While going thru the Ephemeris for the month of Aug 2016 I got struck with some observations:

1. On Aug 12, Sat will change from retro to direct. But in this duration it'll be still (also called as stambhit) for some days - from Aug 9-15 Sat will be on same degrees 15-41 of Scorpio

2. Rahu and Ketu always move in retro motion but occasionally they become direct too. When they turn from retro to direct motion, for 1-2 days they are still (stambhit). So this concept happens twice, first while they go from retro to direct motion and secondly when they go from direct to retro motion back. From Aug 5-12 Rahu-Ketu will be engaged in this game.

On Aug 5-6, Rahu-Ketu will be still at 18-47 deg of Leo and from Aug 7-9 they will be in direct motion. Again from Aug 10-12 they will be still at 18-53 in Leo and from Aug 13 they will start in retro motion again.

3. Interestingly while all this drama of planets will take place, Sat will be aspecting Rahu and Mars will be aspecting Ketu.

4. On Aug 12, Jup will also move to next sign Virgo.
On the same day, Moon wil also move into Scorpio sign and thus become debilitated as well as conjunct with malefics.
At this time Ven & Mer will be conjunct Rahu. Thus 7 planets will be transiting in kendras of India's chart (Taurus Lagna).

5. At this time in India's chart there will be dasha of Moon-Mars-Rahu.
MDL Moon will be debi in transit, ADL Mars is maraka for India (Taurus Lagna) and PDL Rahu will be still (stambhit).

Planet positions seems interesting.

I tried to explore more into the the nakshatras where these conjunctions will take place.
Sat-Moon-Mars conjunction will be in Anuradha while Rahu-Ven-Mer conjunction will be in Poorva Falguni.

Acc to Koorma Chakra given by Varahmihir, Anuradha represents South West part of India (Goa, Karnatka, South west Maharashtra) and Poorva Falguni represents South East (West Bengal, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Pondicherry etc)

In any country's chart, 4H (Where Ven-Mer-Rahu will be posited in India's chart) indicates land, agriculture, forest, stock exchange, entertainment/cinema and Parliament while 7H indicates Wars, terrorist attack, Anti social element.

So very roughly it appears that there may be any of such activity in India from Aug 9-12, 2016,
