Saturn's return

Can anyone tell what would be the effect for a person if Saturn transits natal Saturn in 7th house this coming November (Libra)? I generally would believe that it brings some development related to marriage (especially since Jupiter is opposite in Aries--lagna). Current MD-AD is Mercury-Jupiter.. Mercury is in 9th ruling 3rd/6th, Jupiter is in 8th ruling 9th/12th. In navamsa chart Saturn would be transiting 12th house. Any insight would be appreciated.

If this is your son's chart, that you told me about, Sat's transit in Libra may bring about improvement in studies. As from Libra an exalted Sat would aspect the 3rd, 7th and 10th Hs. However be careful of the period from end 2012 to middle of 2013. During this time Sat and Rahu in transit will meet in Lib, probably in the Vishakha Nk. During this period there can be great improvement or the boy can act seriously funny.

IMHO, it will be a mixed transit. There can be elevation in job or new job. There are possibilities of inheritence coming your way. Posibilities of serious health troubles and accidents are also there. Be careful of the period when Sat-Rahu are together in Lib, in the Vishakha Nk. Refer prev post for date.

And the 2nd point is also true to a great extent. But the age is more around 40-45.

I have a query...Is saturn return similar to sade-sati ? Can the MD of lagna lord help reduce the malefic effects of saturn during this period?

Yes, more so if LL is well placed and strong in the natal chart...Remember saturn is not the only planet in the chart..8 others have a role to play...MD and AD have a bigger and major influence than isolated transits of a specific planet

Shani is the Naisargik Karma Karak, that is natural significator of action. No Karma, not only jobs, can happen without Shani. Marriage cannot happen without transiting Shanis conjunction or aspect on the 7th H or the 7th L either in D1 or D9.
