All other factors being equal - SHRAVANA

My Natal Chandra Nakshatra

Shravana natives won’t listen or consider other peoples point of view, they take an extreme stance in ethics, develop enemies and opposition by not being open or inclusive. They are excessively generous, get into debts, choose to be poor and this trait tends to bankrupt them.

A Shravana native cannot expect help or any returns from the people who he has helped whereas it has been noticed that he is subject to deceit from others. Even if a thief is caught by him, he will first try to find out the truth of the circumstances which led to the person to become a thief and if the thief manages to convince him with a sob story, he let’s the thief go.

A Shravana Native neither reaches the top, nor will he touch bottom. His life will be mediocre at best.

A Shravana native shoulders much responsibility and he ends up spending money to full fill them. Thus he is always in need of money. He does not like to take revenge even with his bitterest of enemies; on the other hand he thinks that God will dish out their due punishment. This is by far a Shravana native’s biggest weakness and the main reason for his down fall. In kali Yuga enemies have to be finished, not pardoned.

Women born in this Nakshatra are internally very cunning. She likes a lot of show, she has the knack to adapt to circumstances as required, but this is not so when it comes to the husband. She is a chatter box and has no control over her tongue.

Shravana people can be rigid and obstinate in nature. They have many enemies due to issues with Jealousy.

They have a tendency towards gossip and love listening to others gossip as well. They are sensitive and easily hurt by the opinions of others. They experience disillusionment early in life. Shravana also means “The lame” or one who limps. They feel inferior and they take time to overcome it. They can be overly zealous at times.

In its negative aspect all its good qualities like Perseverance shrewdness and knowledge are used for selfish means. Since it’s a goal oriented Nakshatra, it becomes dangerous when its goals are unwholesome and unethical. Its power to listen, learn and teach meaningful things is usually lost in gossip, back biting and manipulation. Narrow mindedness is one of the strongest negative traits to emerge out of this Nakshatra. The Nakshatra requires toning down of the ego, as listening without preconceptions is the only way to learn. There is always a danger with this Nakshatra that the person may not always learn the right things. They should always be careful of the company they keep, for they can get into bad company. There is always some kind of fool handedness associated with this Nakshatra they fall prey to deception and bad advice very easily.

The downfall of this Nakshatra usually lies in excessive generosity which leads to debts and poverty. It also makes enemies through Bigotry, narrow mindedness, or extreme ethical stands. . This Nakshatra is not in favor of raising or having children. Due to its extreme receptivity, error in judgment is very likely with this Nakshatra. Other negative traits like changeability, vacillations, imaginary fears and phobias are also seen here .
Shravana people are prone to talk more about sex rather than actually indulge in it

All other factors being equal - Danishtha

Danishtha natives have an innate capacity to control or command others. This is a good trait as long as the persons Dharma is in the right place. But in the case of Charlene Adel, she induced her husband to kidnap rape and kill people.

One peculiarity which is consistently ascribed to this Nakshatra is Marital Discord. When Shani occupies this Nakshatra, it tends to aggravate this tendency, particularly when it is the lord of the 7th house of a horoscope. Marriage sometimes is simply delayed, but at other times, it is totally denied. Men who are strongly under the Nakshatras influence often tend towards Misogyny (the hatred or dislike of women ).

Danishtha people are known to wait years and years to extract their revenge. When they do so they do it with brutal force. (Shani loves to wait and settle scores. Kuja loves to fight) they are like elephants when it comes to extracting revenge. They can wait and wait for years to strike.

It has been noticed that If Ravi and Budha are placed together in a Horoscope of Danishtha born people they remain unmarried. If Kuja and Shukra are placed in an Inimical Nakshatra then the death of the spouse is also noticed.

Danishtha Nakshatra people can become overly ambitious, greedy, stingy or covetous of others property. A tendency towards self absorption and Narcissism may result. Due to the Kuja ruler ship the Danishtha person may become ruthless, inconsiderate, heartless and revengeful. This Nakshatra is Rakshasa or demon like in nature. Troubles or delays in marriage are often seen with women with their natal Lagna / Moon placed here.
People born under this Nakshatra often go for partners who are very different in personality and outlook to them. This leads to a lot of conflicts. This is more true for people whose Lagna or moon occupies the Capricorn part of the Nakshatra.

Kuja is regarded as the most unfavorable planet for marital harmony. A lot of scholars are unanimous regarding the peculiar property of this asterism in promoting marital discord. These marital difficulties are usually enhanced when Kuja, Shani, Rahu, or Ketu are placed in this Nakshatra, and have a connection to the 7th or 8th house in a Horoscope. This is true especially with the Capricorn part of the Nakshatra.

The 4th pada has excessive Martian energy. This pada is known for its aggressiveness. We must remember that it is a demonic Nakshatra and has both the aggressiveness of Kuja and the cunning of Shani. Danishtha is the Pinnacle of Martian energy. Danishtha Nakshatra is actually not very enthusiastic about sexual activity; though it likes to indulge in playful sex acts, filled with aggression. As we know, the Yoni is that of a Lion. A lion has multiple partners and is aggressive with its play.

Danishtha natives are self seeking, aggressive, capable of harming or damaging others, not truthful, fabricate stories, deceptive, withholds information, say what is not the truth or what is incorrect, don't like to be told what to do, indulge in argumentative talks, too talkative, do not think things through, poor at defending themselves when cornered , and pick up partners who are unsuitable for them
.
Through hard work and spiritual practices, a person gets honor and dignity. The lazy one who puts in no efforts is like a fool who allows salt to be spilled on the wounds of his misfortunes. The idler depending only on fate, achieves nothing. - K.N.Rao ji

All other factors being equal - SHATABHISHA

Varahamihira says, “Those who have the Moon in Shatabhisha are harsh in speech, but truthful, will suffer grief, but will conquer their enemies and will thoughtlessly engage in works".

Satabisha people prefer solitude. Some times because of undue ambitions or rough manners they make enemies and alienate well wishers. Major reversals in business during certain stages of life are indicated. Illnesses whose genesis occurs in Satabisha are very difficult to remedy and may require “one hundred physicians” to cure. Shatabhisha induced diseases tend to become grave and chronic.

The shadow side of Shatabhisha is depression and loneliness. They feel restrained and restricted and experience life as a duty. Apathy, suffering, and a feeling of paralysis can result if the person allows himself to feel victimized.

These people are born in the dasha of Rahu which can reflect a difficult or unstable child hood experience. Shani also rules the sign of Kumbha where Satabisha is placed giving obstructions and obstacles in early life. This Nakshatra is Rakshasic or demonic in nature. A brusque intrusive nature can be observed.

Shatabhisha people are unpredictable, unreliable, create confusion, are hard to understand, dependent on others or take from others, feel intensely restrained, mentally anguished, self isolating and uncommunicative.

They seem quiet but are prone to sudden violent bursts of temper. They are unpleasant or unrefined, can be frauds and swindlers, argumentative, hide their true motives, misers and have problems identifying with others.

Secrecy is the one quality which immediately separates Satabisha from other Nakshatras. Anuradha. And Jyeshtha, Purva Ashadha can be secretive but Satabisha takes the cake.

Shatabhisha is the ultimate con artiest. When it comes to secrecy and deception, he is in a league of his own. They view everything with suspicion. They draw a boundary around themselves which makes it difficult for others to approach them. They can get solitary eccentric reclusive and introverted. Thus seclusion can only translate into pessimism and self pity.

It has been noticed that these people lack proper grooming and education in their formative years. They often make their own rules to deal with this tough world. Absentmindedness is one marked feature of this Nakshatra. They always convey a sense of aloofness even if they are genuinely attentive from the inside.

Their negative traits include laziness, addictions, perversions, and vulnerability to all types of mental, psychological and emotional troubles.

It is noticed that if an individual has their 2nd lord or 11th lord placed in Shatabhisha, they might experience a pauper state or a complete loss of family at some stage of their lives. This is because Shatabhisha has a tendency to make a zero out of things it affects in a nativity. Since it is a neuter Nakshatra it does not promote childbirth if it is connected with the 5th house or Guru.

Shatabhisha is known to induce a tendency towards intoxication with drugs, alcohol and sex. Shatabhisha is the pinnacle of Rahu’s energy. If Rahu is placed badly, the native might be in trouble 24/7. Shatabhisha is associated with coldness, slowness, practicality, melancholy, stillness, introversion and detachment.

It has been found that they usually cannot lead a happy married life. If Guru and Shani are severely afflicted, he may remain a bachelor all his life. For women, long separations or divorce has been noticed.

Those born in this Nakshatra should not keep any dealings with Uttara Bhadra, Ashvini, Krittika and Danishtha Nakshatra people.

If Ketu is in the 4th quarter of Shatabhisha he will incur heavy loss of money, indulge in sex with lower class women, or even with maid servants, and might leave home if his acts are detected by the family. Shukra gives early sexual contacts.
Through hard work and spiritual practices, a person gets honor and dignity. The lazy one who puts in no efforts is like a fool who allows salt to be spilled on the wounds of his misfortunes. The idler depending only on fate, achieves nothing. - K.N.Rao ji

All other factors being equal - PURVA BHADRAPADA

3 Factors save the Nakshatra from being grossly evil. The Nakshatra is Passive, is a Brahman and is a sattvic Nakshatra. More over the Nakshatra is ruled by Guru who as we all knows is an extreme benefic, all other factor being equal.

The deity is Ajaikapada meaning the unfooted unborn one, it is said to be a form of Rudra and is capable of doing exactly what Rudra does.

Rudra is a deity of destruction who rules fire and heat, the kind that is produced to burn dead bodies.
The alternate symbol of this Nakshatra is a two faced man. This simply indicates a two faced behavior, a person who has another side which he does not always show. Sort of like a Jekyll and Hyde character. They are very good at keeping secrets and can’t be taken at face value.

When Lagna and Moon occupy this Nakshatra, it often indicates an overly serious, fearful, high strung, nervous person who never the less may be a skillful speaker. Passion, impetuousness and anger are all strongly associated with this Nakshatra, which rules cynicism, harsh words, greediness, and a fascination for the ecstasy of evil and the darker side of life. It rules searing pains, falls and injuries from attacks. Punishment and penance are under its sway, for actions carried out under its influence often produce painful and anxious circumstances which are accompanied by remorse, sadness and difficulty.

This Nakshatra rules professions like those who associate with death and dying, Morticians, Murderers, radicals , fanatics, people in the porn industry, weapon makers, psychiatrists ( who often end up making things worse) horror movie writers, terrorists and black magicians . It also rules ascetics who self torment and self mortify. Ajaikapada is the ruling deity of all types of black magic and they are why, people who are highly influenced by this Nakshatra are attracted to, or practice black magic.

Rama Krishna Paramahamsa had his Moon in this Nakshatra. He managed to turn every negative into a positive; this Nakshatra helped him deal with the Aghori rituals connected with dead bodies.

The shadow side of this Nakshatra is an angry, impulsive, anxious personality. Their goal is to rise up their spiritual aspirations in life which can take them out of the domain of selfish behavior. They have the ability to see issues from different points of view, but this trait however makes them appear as Two faced to others. When confronted with a stressful life a wavering and unstable mind is often the result.
Through hard work and spiritual practices, a person gets honor and dignity. The lazy one who puts in no efforts is like a fool who allows salt to be spilled on the wounds of his misfortunes. The idler depending only on fate, achieves nothing. - K.N.Rao ji

PURVA BHADRAPADA

Like I said before, 4 Factors save the Nakshatra from being grossly evil. The Nakshatra is Passive, is a Brahman and is a sattvic Nakshatra. More over the Nakshatra is ruled by Guru who as we all knows is an extreme benefic, all other factor being equal. These 3 factors make him highly principled. (Not good in Kali Yuga). He has to suffer a lot mentally as he takes into his heart even the smallest of confrontations and problems.

He does not believe in blind principles of religion. It is said that the native born under this Nakshatra cannot enjoy and derive full love and attention of his mother.

Purva Bhadra people are Skeptical, a bit unusual, distrustful, given to grim and serious conversations changes residence more than most, takes too many risks. He is a worrier, poor at financial planning, dominated by his partner, unenthusiastic, does not pay attention to obligations, ends up in a low pay and low prestige work, and have a tendency for substance abuse.

They can also be prone to, paranoia, pessimism, debauchery, Violence, hedonism, thirst for the macabre, lying, deceit, cruelty and morbidity. If there was one word to describe this Nakshatra it would be “Diabolical”.

It is said that A Purva Bhadra pada Native ends up engaging in bad karma because they are ready to indulge in “just about anything” to achieve their objective.

If a case study of mass murderers, homicides and genocides was carried out, it would be found that most of the people involved would have some strong connection with this Nakshatra. This Nakshatra relates both to be persecuted and the persecutor. A Purva native is ready to stand on one foot for 10 years or even more if he is convinced that it is going to bring them their desired result.

After reading the above description you might be surprised to know a lot of times Purva bhadra natives cannot be distinguished from the rest. They have a strong capacity to fit into contemporary social structures. No one can suspect the kind of things they are up to in their private lives. They usually keep their idiosyncrasies and nefarious activities a secret.

These are the kind of people who have a 9-5 job and in the night can be found in fetish clubs, banging heads to hard core heavy metal, entertaining macabre fantasies, practicing dark tantric rituals or plotting and carrying out violent criminal activities. They are susceptible to extreme views and often end up being part of extreme fundamental groups. They tend to oscillate between extremes in the sexual sphere. All kinds of sexual perversions and phobias are seen to originate in this Nakshatra.
Through hard work and spiritual practices, a person gets honor and dignity. The lazy one who puts in no efforts is like a fool who allows salt to be spilled on the wounds of his misfortunes. The idler depending only on fate, achieves nothing. - K.N.Rao ji

All factors being equal - UTTARA BHADRAPADA

It is hard to pin down the exact nature of this Nakshatra. It can function in a variety of ways and fashion itself according to its needs and surroundings. This Nakshatra never acts hastily (They wait and scheme) in fact they postpone actions too long for its own good. In a lot of cases it can just be plain lazy, in both physical and mental matters.

This Nakshatra likes to do everything in a controlled fashion with care and restraint. This Nakshatra produces shy reluctant and passive personalities. Such natives are usually in no hurry, tendency which in its lower aspects can make them lazy and prone to inaction in times when action is indispensable.

The serpent of the depths is quite an immobile and inert creature and it requires some external agency or force to arouse it. It has secretive and reclusive tendencies.

They tend to develop long term enemies, can’t take a stand for themselves, hesitant, unreceptive, and suffer from forgoing their own needs too much. They create disputes that take a long to resolve, too self interested. Self centered financial focus

The shadowy side of Uttara Bhadrapada is similar to its twin Purva Bhadrapada. Issues with anger, passion, and aggression can be seen, But to a lesser extent. They can be secretive, cunning, with a tendency towards gossip.

When afflicted a lazy careless and irresponsible nature may develop. Their primary motivation is Kama or desire, which can cause some addiction problems with sex and drugs. They are warriors and if angered they can defeat and vanquish their enemies. Delays in success can occur.
Through hard work and spiritual practices, a person gets honor and dignity. The lazy one who puts in no efforts is like a fool who allows salt to be spilled on the wounds of his misfortunes. The idler depending only on fate, achieves nothing. - K.N.Rao ji

All other Factors being equal - REVATI

Gana - Deva
Primary Motivation - Moksha
Nature - Soft Mild or tender - Mridu
Qualities - Sattwa /Sattwa/Sattwa

Varaha Mihira says
People born in this nakshatra have no desire to covet the property of others.
David Frawley says
Revati Nakshatra people are meant for worlds much greater than this.

Dr Robert Svoboda says
A revati born is a responsible and dependable friend.
Prash Trivedi ji says
It is one of the most pleasing and benovolent of nakshatras
K.T. Shubakaran says
A Revati born is the most God fearing and religious and hence enjoys maximum blessings of the almighty
William Levacy says
They are happy when other people are happy. Their interests lie in seeing others happy
Prof Muthuswamy says
They never tease others and remain least interfering. They never resort to crooked means to achieve their ends.

Andrew Foss says
Revati is governed by Pushan, the nourishing form of the Sun God. It has the power of nourishment symbolized by milk (kshiradyapani shakti). Its basis above is the cows. Its basis below are the calves. These three bring about the nourishment of the entire world. Revati creates abundance through providing proper nourishment. It helps all people in their efforts. Pushan is the lord of cattle and the lord of the paths. He leads, protects and gathers the herd in their movement, particularly to new pastures. In this way he also protects the soul in its journey to the next world.

But even a Nakshatra like this has its bad traits..................

How to use the traits of a Nakshatra for analysis

ACTIVITY: - as we have seen there are 3 kinds of states or activities the Nakshatra can be in. 1. Active 2. Passive 3. Balanced.

The state of the Nakshatra can enhance, strengthen subdue, suppress, or balance the qualities and natural significations and the house indications of the planet which occupies the Nakshatra. An active planet like Kuja can enhance its qualities……Kuja being an energetic and dynamic planet if he is placed in an active Nakshatra. He is likely to work best in an active Nakshatra, all other factors being equal. Shani for example works best in an active planet, depending on the houses he owns, Shani being a passive and lazy planet. Shani if owning the 4th and the 5th house works better when placed in an active Nakshatra. But if he owned the 7th and the 8th house, it would be best if he sat in a Passive Nakshatra.

Let me use my own horoscope as an example
26 04 1973 – 00:26 @ Mangalore. Kuja in the Lagna is in an active Nakshatra Dhanishtha. Kuja is in his own Nakshatra and is exalted . He is extremely strong and is ready to fight at the slightest provocation. Now note the Lagna and the Lagna lord’s placement. Lagna is in a Balanced Nakshatra in Uttara Ashadha. While Shani the Lagna lord is in a passive Nakshatra Mrigashirsha. Both the lords of the Nakshatra, Ravi and Kuja are placed well and are exalted. When a passive Nakshatra is exalted it gives the native a strong awareness of others, compassion towards one and all and an ability to accept reality appropriately. Rather the theme becomes “ %^&* it , let them do what they want.”

The balanced Nakshatra when unafflicted indicate that propitious sense of balance in all things. There is an inherent trait of understanding that one cannot change the whole world no matter how hard one tries. There is a sense of resignation and acceptance with the circumstances one is in.
Through hard work and spiritual practices, a person gets honor and dignity. The lazy one who puts in no efforts is like a fool who allows salt to be spilled on the wounds of his misfortunes. The idler depending only on fate, achieves nothing. - K.N.Rao ji

A active Nakshatra when Afflicted can indicate qualities like aggression, excessive zeal, Dogmatism, quarrels, disputes, instability, foolishness, self centeredness, impulsiveness, impatience, and fast starts but slow follow through.

A passive Nakshatra when afflicted can indicate a listless approach to life and life goals, procrastinations, excessive and paralyzing idealism, irresoluteness and lack of courage.

A balanced Nakshatra when afflicted indicates fault finding, an unwillingness to do anything except by a "by the book" fashion, ultra conservatism, reluctance to accept reality and an exaggerated desire to live life with the least disturbance and adventure possible.

Take Danishtha for example. It is a Tamasic Nakshatra. Now Kuja is a Tamasic Graha by nature. Kuja will find his Tamasic nature enhanced when he occupies Dhanishtha
Now take Guru for example. His debilitation Rashi is Makara. Makara has three Nakshatras namely, Uttara Ashadha, Shravana and Danishtha. Guru is by nature a Sattvic Nakshatra. It is better for Guru to be placed in Uttara Ashadha or Shravana than Dhanishtha. Please note that both Uttara and Shravana are Rajasic Nakshatras. But it’s better for Guru to be caught in these two Nakshatras than Dhanishtha.

Conclusion :

The brihadaranyaka Upanishad says “truly one becomes good by good action and bad by bad action” Every physical action or mental action you perform and with which you identify yourself with becomes a karma for you and produces a reaction you will eventually have to experience. since limitation of time and space prevent everything from happening in our world all at once, the law of karma schedules its events to occur just in time, every time in different era’s . Have no doubt about it. We are here in our time, space and arena due to our own past karmas. What we do in this life time + what karmas we have left in balance from our past lifetimes, will come to shape our future life times.

This current life of yours is fundamentally a swim across your Prarabdha karma. If your Prarabdha is Dridha it is likely to overpower you and sweep you away, even if you are a strong swimmer. If it’s Dridha – Adridha karma then the current and your strength are in equal strength. You can make it across the river with remedies, good advice, god’s blessings and faith in goodness. If the currents are weak, you can take a leisure swim across the river. You can even decide not to have a swim, but to float by, with a pinna colada in your hand and a straw hat on your head. This is Adridha karma. It is for you to use your free will and decide if you want to swim or lie by the banks of the river. All these situations are created by you. You get a rough river by your own past actions; you get a calm stream by your own past actions. As you sow ……so shall you reap. The 9 planets above us and the 27 Nakshatras are controllers and contributors to this karmic rhapsody. The Nakshatras are everything. But in essence it is the 9 planets who own the 27 Nakshatras. All act independently, but at the end of the day, all are one.

Every human being is controlled by his own past karma’s. Meta-physically each person is a microscopic universe. Seers of ancient India discovered that the universe is controlled by an unseen power. The Rishi’s believed that this unseen power has outsourced the job of handing out each one’s karma’s, good or bad to the 9 planets and the 27 Nakshatras .The Krishna yajur Veda and theTaittreya Brahmana mention the nakshatras in order with their presiding lords. Make no mistake about it; the nakshatras are unique to India. I have said time and again on this very forum ……. The moon is everything in Jyotish. If the Moon is everything then the Nakshatras are the brides of the Moon and they thus mean everything to the Moon. The moon spends one night in every Nakshatra, ie he spends a night in every brides constellation. the close connection to the moon and the Nakshatras is evident when we pause to think that the nature of an individual can be found by examining the nature of the Nakshatras occupied by the ascendant (since it is the foundation of the individuals personality) and the moon (since it represents the individuals mental and emotional proclivities and tendencies – and since the moon is the Raison d’être for the Nakshatras). What’s more, the father of Astrology Sage Parsahara has mentioned that the kings among dasha’s is the Vimshottari Dasha.
Through hard work and spiritual practices, a person gets honor and dignity. The lazy one who puts in no efforts is like a fool who allows salt to be spilled on the wounds of his misfortunes. The idler depending only on fate, achieves nothing. - K.N.Rao ji

We find evidence in Chapter 46 2-5 of the B.P.H.S. I quote, "Maharishi Parsahara replied: O Brahmin! Dasha's are of many kinds. Amongst them Vimshottari is the most appropriate for the general populace. But, the other Dasha’s followed in special cases are Astottari, Shodshottari, Dwadashottari, Panchottari, Shatabdik, Chaturashiti-sama, Dwisaptati-sama, Shastihayani, Shatvimsh-sama. Our ancients have described these different kinds of Dasha’s based on Nakshatras (constellations). And again in chapter 46 sloka 12-14 In Kali Yuga the natural life span of a human being is generally taken as 120 years. Therefore, Vimshottari Dasha is considered to be the most appropriate and the best of all Dasha’s. We know that the Vimshottari dasha scheme is based on the Nakshatra where the moon is seated at the time of birth. Now you slowly begin to understand how important the Nakshatras are in the grand scheme of astrology. As we all know, The Vimshottari dasha is also called as the Nakshatra Dasha. To understand the Nakshatras is to understand Jyotish.

So how do Nakshatras function within a Rashi? What say do the Nakshatra lords have and how much control does the Rashi lord have on the Nakshatras and their lords? Just imagine a gated colony named Leo. Leo has 3 apartments in the complex, the first block is a four floored building named Magha, with four floors, the 2nd complex is Purva Phalguni with 4 floors, and the 3rd is a single condo called Uttara Phalguni. Each building has different amenities and interiors schemes. They have a different society governing them. The politics are different from floor to floor (Just like any other apartment.) each collect different monthly maintenance charges, have different set of rules for parking. Use of electricity and water etc. But ultimately they cannot go beyond the rules set by the president of the Gated colony. Ravi is the president of the colony. The president of Magha is Ketu. Purva Phalguni is Shukra, and Finally Uttara Phalguni is Ravi. Thus though they are all different they have to finally abide by a common rule.

Nakshatras can be used to evaluate a horoscope in the following manner. Nakshatras when well-placed display their most positive indications and when afflicted display their most negative indications. For example if

Shravana is afflicted ones gait might be afflicted. If the lords of the 12th sits in the Nakshatra and the lord of the Nakshatra (moon) is afflicted ones feet might be injured and this injury might lead to limping, or if highly afflicted might even results in the person ending up lame.

Nakshatras are well placed if occupied by a natural benefic and are exceptionally well placed if this tenanting benefic is conjoined with or Aspected by another natural benefic. (/exceptionally rare)
Nakshatras are afflicted if occupied by a natural Malefic and are exceptionally afflicted if this tenanting malefic is conjoined with or Aspected by another natural Malefic. (Quite common)

When the ruler of a Nakshatra occupies a Kendra or a Kona or its own Nakshatra PR Rashi or its exaltation Rashi that Nakshatra is well placed. When the ruler of a Nakshatra occupies 6 8 12 or is debilitated that Nakshatra is afflicted

The lords of the houses will be affected by the Nakshatras will be afflicted in which they are placed. For example, a man whose Moon is in Shravana is a good listener and has a sharp sense of hearing. And if musically inclined is good at picking the nuances of music. He is also kind charitable and humanistic, (all traits of Shravana ……..all factors being equal.
Through hard work and spiritual practices, a person gets honor and dignity. The lazy one who puts in no efforts is like a fool who allows salt to be spilled on the wounds of his misfortunes. The idler depending only on fate, achieves nothing. - K.N.Rao ji
