Reference to Mars in Rohini nakshatra in Sunadara Kandam

In chapter 15 there is a reference
व्रीडिताम् दुह्ख सम्तप्ताम् परिम्लानाम् तपस्विनीम् |
ग्रहेण अन्गारकेण एव पीडिताम् इव रोहिणीम् ||

Bashful, tortured by sorrow worn out in a pitiable condition like the constellation Rohini, pressed by the planet mars.

What does this mean astrologically for a person with Mars in Rohini nakshatra?

There is another reference with respect to King Dasaratha which I would encourage readers to ascertain the veracity of, including the following stories:


Saturn enters the star constellation of Rohini once in every 30 years. This is one of the most dreaded transits of the kings and his kingdom. The scriptures say “Kings will die and kingdoms will fall when Shani enters Rohini”. Last time it entered Rohini on 22nd May 2001. On the night of 1st June 2001 the entire Royal family of Nepal was wiped out. It was followed by the death of the Indian Congress minister and Raja of Gwalior Sri Madhav Rao Scindia on 30th September 2001 in a plane crash.

It was during the reign of Raja Dashrath of Ayodhya Shani Dev was to do his Rohini Shakat Bedan and the outcome would have been a 12 year period of drought and famine in his kingdom of Ayodhya.

Raja Dashrath initially tried to defeat Lord shanidev, but failed and as Shani Dev is well-known as the Nyay Devta and the dispenser of Justice, Dashrath tries to appeal to him in all humility not to do Rohini Shakat Bedan. The ideal king realizes that the only way to avert the catastrophic drought and famine in his land is to evoke the kindness of Shani.

Regarding Saturn's transit, I recollect that when September 11, 2001 attacks happened, Saturn was in Rohini.

Also, this year Mars will transit Rohini from March 11th to April 3rd. During that period Rahu also transits Rohini.

Hi,

One observation is that the number of covid positive cases started to rise (2nd wave) around March 11th or so and has not abated till date here in India.

For reference:
1) Rahu entered Rohini (Taurus 23deg 20min) on Feb 13th, 2021
2) Mars entered Rohini (Taurus 10deg 00min) on March 11th, 2021, triggering the 2nd wave
3) Mars exited Rohini (Taurus 23deg 20min) on April 2nd, 2021
4) Rahu is going to exit Rohini (Taurus 10deg 00min) on Sep 19, 2021, 2021

Hopefully, by end of September 2021, we will be rid of covid.
