Reckoning the role of bhavas with respective to Saturn’s placement

Post by lefteye » 06 Oct 2019

Reckoning the role of bhavas with respective to Saturn’s placement is a tool to understand a chart. Most of us get carried away during the initial phase of lives by the fake sense of safety. We come to look for chart reading when we are almost done with a bad patch-not withstanding attempts out of the positive minded counseling like Napoleon Hill. At that point, we would have got all our ego and energy evaporated and be ready for number of misreading and remedies. We will end up with a new theory that astrology is fake.

Well, this is a vicious cycle. The following piece of information may be useful to seekers to have an understanding of charts.

1.Where Sani sits-is the primary purpose of present birth.

2.2nd from Saturn=Runanubandha, karmic debts, pending karma= Saturn destroys the second house from its occupation.

3.3rd from Saturn= karmas of final birth.

4. 4th from Saturn denotes the heart of karma. All activities will be either supported or opposed by this.

5.5th from Saturn denotes prarabdha. If it is a benefic house good comforts and fame. If it is a trik sthana difficult life.

6.6th from Saturn denotes runanubandha of this birth.

7. 7th from Saturn is the bhava that will be a life long challenge-always confronting.
8.Talks about after death.

9. 9th from Saturn is the lucky house in this birth.Saturn itself becomes lucky-if gets a parivatana with this planet.

10.Represents kriyamana karma. A benefic in trine is welcome here-as this is giving results of fructifying agamic and prarabdh karmas in this birth.

11.11th from Saturn reveals the karmic desire. Native’s desire will be spinning around this bhava but he/she would be helpless to get a satisfactory completion. It is different from the 5th point which is prarabdha. Prarabdha will happen effortlessly. If it is an evil, native should be very careful to avoid. Whatsoever be the effort native puts in, an evil house of prarabdha will give bad results only.

12.12th from Saturn is sanchita karma. Mostly we will have collection of bad karmas in sanchita baggage. It will take a blow mostly in its karakatwa because native will be an expert ,natural mishandler of its karakatwa :lol: . For example, if Saturn is in 7th, 12th from Saturn falls in 6th house from lagna . So natives will easily earn enmity from people he interacts with or susceptible to diseases. If Saturn is in 4th, native will be endorsed as an expert in miscommunication/fighting with coborns/etc.. For few,who have good karmas in sanchita,this placement will not be all that bad.

We may combine the basic principle -1,5,9=sanchita ;2,6,10 prarabdha to measure the course of events here.

Interesting insights.

Would like to know whether the 'runaubandha' effects would still apply if the house in question happens to be ones ruled by saturn himself.

Hi,
Does it hold true only when Saturn is placed alone in a bhava? How benefics and malefics change the outcome (aspect or conjunction )??!! Eager to know...

@abhi8492i & @snsharma
Ownership doesn't play a role here. But conjunctions play role.
For example,Taurus ascendant,Saturn in 10th and 9th. When Saturn is in 10th,it gives a comfortable , secured and prosperous life style comparing with cases of Saturn in 9th. Though both the houses are own houses,Saturn gives different results for 9th bhava.So this suggests that the ownership is not a factor. I suggest to consider other bhavas to judge the impact of this dictum. I have checked all 12 except 8th in few charts of friends and relatives from memory and in those cases this is applicable even without considering other bhavas. But we should combine the basic principle -1,5,9=sanchita ;2,6,10 prarabdha to measure the course of events here. Then only it will be proper judgement.

Runanubandha means that we are already accustomed to it. We will not be taken aback by that.It is a gift - either to reap benefits or to rectify the mistakes we have done in previous birth. We can realise it from the placement of other planets. We will be closely associated or tolerant towards that bhava karakatwas with all troubles we face with it.

If we consider Saturn in lagna, 6th is runanubandha. That is runa roga satru . It denotes service also. Saturn’s position in the first house gives a reserved, introvert and serious kind of nature to the native. Life seems like an uphill battle and native often becomes pessimistic about future. So many second thoughts. You need to keep fighting despite the odds and need to understand that your hard work will not go to waste. Saturn in 1st house gives the reward of the labor in the later part of life.
Success is delayed, not denied. Such natives also tend to procrastinate, which is a weakness that you can rise above, using your constructive thinking and introspection.

If we consider Saturn in 2nd, 7th becomes runanubandha. Saturn in 2nd house of wealth accumulation, immediate family and speech makes you good with money management. Such people believe in savings and are quite frugal and practical in nature. They value their heritage too. These karakatwas and persons identified by the house will be deciding factors in judging the outcome-loss or gain. That is his PR/Kalatra/partners-are involved here.
The native accumulates money but a lot of hard work goes into it. Native is sometimes so busy acquiring wealth that he or she is unable to use it for his or her own good or pleasure. It is good to save for the rainy day, but you should also make your present equally fulfilling. This position can also give poverty to the native in some cases. Finance gives you stress if there is any misbalance. We have to study the bhava strength,D2,Special lagnas and combinations of other yoga to decide the outcome of financial status.

Conjunction will have its effects. But with Ketu, it is complicated as both are highly karmic planets. Jupiter when conjuncts with two malefics indicates brahma sapam.In such cases,the tithi will be a difficult one.
Or tithi sphuta will have afflictions.That destroys happiness. The degree of hardships will be fullest if conjunction happens within 3 degrees 20 minutes. If they are not too close,but wider apart- say 14 degrees and more,the effects will not be too bad to bear.
Most of us are unhappy. If we think about someone who is seemingly happy,would have paid the bills in advance or will pay a bit sooner or later :lol: . So we need not be anxious to become happy.But it is important to do remedies to remove the curse so as not to pass this on to our children.

Sir, how about when saturn is in 12th? Does it destroy the first house (which is self)? If yes, how?

@Dashas
As I have quoted here, we shall not go by one single rule while reading a chart. These concepts are from Nadi. There are people who judge from Rahu or Tithi Sunya bhava or planets. All have their contributions.If navamsa dispositor is in satisfactory condition, 80% of the negatives will not work. Periods will be good.

We all have different charts but similarity in troubles.So we are tempted to believe bad news quickly. Saturn destroys 2nd house from it is true-or it tends to destroy second house . This is one of the negative points we have to consider while dealing with 2nd house related issues.

For the position wise details, please refer my posts in "Remedial Measures and Spiritual Practices".

@lefteye, I dont see anything for 12th house saturn on "Remedial Measures and Spiritual Practices" post. Also, do you take saturn's placement based on rashi chart or bhava chalit? Thank you.
