Ketu as maraka

Hello gurus,
Can ketu kill a person during its dasha or AD if its placement is in dusthana like 8 or 12 house and is strongly placed ?

Any malefic planet including ketu in dusthana places like 6,8,12 does not kill native. These houses only give health issues. 6th house begins an issue, 8th house makes it bigger, 12th house throws native in hospital. when 1,5,11 house significators run, native regains health. If ketu only signifies 8,12, he gives physical or mental health issues.
Death houses according to vedic astrology are 2, 7 houses. If ketu signifies one of these houses, then, ketu gets the powers to kill. Ketu is a shadowy planet, include its sign lord significations too. A blind rule is, if MD planet doesn't signify death, then, any AD planet can not kill native.

2) suppose a planet which holds 7th house and 10th house takes part in dharmakaramathipathi yoga, will it have power to kill the jathaka?

To get a health issue, the planet must have some link to 1st house. Then, it creates both, health issue and recovery in its MD or in its AD or in its PD (in same week, or in same month, or in same year).

2) suppose a planet which holds 7th house and 10th house takes part in dharmakaramathipathi yoga, will it have power to kill the jathaka?

If no other planet takes or gets the 7th house signification, then, the owner, even though, participated in such yoga, tends to kill the native.

If maraka Lords MD inflict death or deathlike agony to a native, why arent 2nd, 7th Lords considered malefic? .Surely deathlike agony isn't something one would associate with benefics.

To get interchange of significations like maraka, health issues, etc. among planets, the orb (distance) must be less than 3 degrees. Orb with more than 3 degrees will not allow total signification exchange among planets.
There are many points to consider in this topic -
- getting a signification from other planets by conjunction, is considered as a weaker signification compared to other types of significations.
- if the 6, 12 lords are natural malefics, then, their conjunction gives bad effects
- if these lords are natural benefics, then, their conjunction would not give much bad effects
etc.etc.

In some topics, we can not make a blind rule. We have to study in many aspects.

2nd, 7th Lords are always considered as malefic for longevity. These are known as maraka lords. Even if these 2,7 lords are natural benefics, there is no exception. But they have to wait till the longevity ends to kill native. If some other planet signifies 2,7 ; then lords of 2,7 will not kill native.
