Bhavat Bhavam and 6th (Expansion) to a House - Some Insights

Post by Khoo Hock Leong » 14 Apr 2019

Hi Learned Members

The 6th to house A (call it house B) is always stronger than A BUT to a certain extent, B has to depend on A for sustenance. A is the foundation of B. But if the Lord of B is placed in A, then B is completely under the control of A, for better or for worse.

For example, the 1st lord is generally stronger than the 8th lord, otherwise we need to have super kundalini energy that is fully awakened and super genetic meshing But if the 8th is weak, then the gains you get from your 1st may not be long-lasting. To give a vivid example suppose you are born with good looks to become a supermodel. That means you have a very good 1st house. But if your 8th house is so bad you tend to age faster than most human being because of some genetic dysfunction in your makeup. Your good looks are gone in a matter of short time.

(Note that 4th is your genetic inheritance but 8th shows the final genetc makeup that you obtain when the zygote of yourself gets formed from the alleles given by your father and mother; 8th is the 5th ie. the future of your 4th. 8th reprsents the final DNA package structure given to you).

To contine in our example, but if the 1st lord goes to the 8th, and has all the blessings og strong natural benefics, then you are able to contribute yourself for genetic enginnering experiments and the outcome would be very beneficial. Or you can awaken your kundalini energy by whatever means possible, by Raja Yoga or by Jaapa.

On the other hand, if B is the bhavat bhavam of A, then B is the higher octave of A, and can turnaround A even if A is negative, as two negatives make one positive.

Some houses are both the expansion of a house as well as the bhavat bhavam of the same house. Like the 11th house is the expansion of the 6th house and is also the 6th of the 6th. Meaning the income you obtained in the 11th is for a job well done in the 6th, the bhavat bhavam principle. The income of the 11th also coomensurates with effort you put in your work and how effective you apply your effort, the 6th expansion principle. Note that a job well done is a higher octave of efficiency and effectiveness as the outcome of a results depends on the judicioys application of the right amount of effort applied to each potential point in a job, which also can loosely be defined as expertise.

I also like the to highlight the expansion of the 11th to the 4th to the 9th and 9th is also the 11th of the 11th. With a good income, you get to buy a house, which in turn gives you fortune, which you can invest furthe (9th is the 2nd to the 8th) to give further gains.

Now, a long time back, I mentioned that Nikhil Gupta mentioned that all planets each has a best house placement.

To recap,

Sun is best placed in 11th for gains fit for a king.

Moon is best placed in 3rd for mental courage and determination.. The person is not tied down to any mundane affairs.

Mercury is best placed in 12th for charity. The consequence is good effects redound back to you. Like Vishnu the maintener.

Venus is best placed in 1st where wordly affairs are handled with wisdom resulting in wealth. It is a sign of great mental knowledge in various mundane fields.

Jupiter is best placed in 1st for spiritual knowledge which leads to a reaping of a good stream of benefits of any affairs undertaken. Gods help you.

Mars is best placed in 2nd for logic which results in a good orator, people with presence who are valued for their logical approach to affairs and their motivations to others.

Saturn is best placed in 11th for gains from good karma earned in previous lives. The keyword is the person gets his full due for his past efforts in past lives. Rahu would further expand it but Saturn will determine how much will eventually go to you. That is why Saturn is exalted in the 11th.

Rahu is best placed in 6th for dealing with enemies.

Ketu is best placed in 12th for moksha or detachment from the wordly view of things.

Go to the 8th of each of the above houses which is the source of energy for that house.

That is also s very good placement if the said planet is placed 8th to the house concerned. A deeper insight of things and a more intense use of its energy are generally the outcome. The list of houses above is just the corresponding expansion 6th of this intense energy house.

So Sun is well placed in 6th for efficient organization of resources.

Moon is well placed in the 10th for easy gains in career and a good reputation.

Mercury is well placed in the 7th where you satisfy the desires of the other party by giving, so that the relationship is well oiled and never breaks up.

Venus is well placed in the 8th for a generally intelligent person.

Jupiter is well placed in the 8th for easy spiritual attainment.

Mars is well placed in the 9th for standing behind and promoting a cause with grest determination and with much egalitarianism.

Rahu is well placed in 1st for vitality and energy.

Ketu is well placed in the 7th for loyalty in relationships.

The 3rd best placement is for a planet in digbala. Only Jupiter's best house placement coincide with its digbala placement. This shows Jupiter gives its fuul results if it is honoured and treated with respect.

For the second list above, forgot to mention Saturn.

Saturn is well placed in the 6th because all your emotional, physical, mental, speech, cognitive functions require prana to function. Saturn would ensure all these functions are done properly, with the right amount of effort and the appropriate time, so that a task gets done properly.

Notice that Saturn and Sun gives majestic gains in the 11th, the source of which is work effort. While Sun depends more on organising people, Saturn is jore concerned with organizing the bodily functions of an individual so that he can perform his job effectively and efficiently.

A close neighbour would Saturn in the 2nd which seeks to organise the work flow of an individual in his work role. But the best placements would be Saturn in the 11th and the 6th, besides its digbala in the 7th.

Use the Rasi Tulya Navamsa principle to get more house placements of your planets in the Rasi.

For example, using this principle, I have Mercury in 12th for charitability, Venus in 4th for digbala, Sun in 6th for being a good organiser, Moon in 3rd for mental courage, Rahu in 6th for dealing with enemies and Ketu in the 12th for detachment.

Other house placements not governed by the content of this thread but using the Rasi Tulya Navamsa principle are Jupiter in the 9th for luck, Saturn in the 12th for being a stand-out in your lineage and Mars in 5th for great mental energy devoted to Gods.

In the original Rasi chart, I have Jupiter in 8th for easy spiritual attainment, Venus in the 1st for being well versed in all subjects, both Mars and Satutn in digbala, Rahu in 1st for vitality and energy and Ketu in the 7th for loyalty in relationships.

My other original Rasi house placements but not governed by the content of this thread are Sun in the 12th for leadership and dignity and Moon in the 7th for condciousness towards existence.

Digbala essentially means the planet's karaka gets a full boost because of its house placement as the house properties and its planetary properties mesh well.

I forgot to mention my original Rasi chart has Mercury in the 11th, not being governed by the contents of this thread.

Here Mercury shows gain in multiple fronts. The thing is Mercury is an Earth planet, so the gains quickly spread like a network eg. trees start to gtow evrywhere because of the fertile soil and the mineral rich content of the soil also gives birth to barious metals and gemstones. Mercury placement here denotes all round prosperity.
