9th house damaged but 9th lord exalted?

My friend is cancer ascendant. His mercury is in 9th house debilitated in pisces. Lord of pisces jupiter is exalted in lagna with directional strenght. His sun is also exalted in 10th house with directional strenght.
His details are:
DOB- 18 April 1991
Time- 11:50 a.m
Place- New Delhi

His relationship with father is not good. How to read these type of tricky scenarios?

mercury is the 3rd lord of fights/mis understandings placed in his own star.From natural karak of father sun,such mercury placed in 12th from him.so mercury cant maintains the significations 9th house properly as it is enemies house and also mercury is a tenant of it.coming to 9th lord jupiter,he is placed in 7-8 th lords star pushya.From the 9th house such 9th lord placed in 5th of cancer,in exaltation.so father has his own kind of love/affection towards his son but whereas ,it is the sons misunderstanding[mercury's neecha state]towards the father only.Here you have to observe a key point is-if the house is with weak planet but its dispositor is strong,such combo is said to give delayed results on such misunderstandings of son on his father.It means,son lately recognises that why his father is behaved in such manner with him.so son lacks maturity to understand his father due to his young age factors.As son matures,he will realise what his father actually and really.Hope his father is a prominent figure in the society or in his business/family circles.

There are two downsides to the 9th house apart from the fallen Mercury. Saturn aspecting the 9th house and 9th house lord. In the case of Cancer Ascendant Saturn can be extremely powerful as it rules the 8th house. Do not underestimate the influence of Saturn as far as the Cancer ascendant goes. Saturn being in the 7th house would also mean partners for your friend would not be liked by the Father.

Sun is exalted so Father is extremely powerful. And being that the Moon and Venus are exalted and in own house female company would be a problem here.

Yes his father is a very powerful person indeed with strong govt. connections. And female company is a problem. His jupiter MD started and he broke up with his long time girlfriend.

Saturn aspect on Jupiter is a tight one within two degrees. Mars aspect on Saturn also equally tight. For this ascendant though expect Mars to play a significant role even though present in 12th house with Ketu. With that 11th house exalted Moon and 12th House other worldly Mars and extremely powerful Father and family expect him to work on areas a bit different than his friend circle.
