Hi Learned Members
It has been stated in the scriptures that planets in the 12th, their natural significations becomes enhanced.
Since 11th is the 12th of the 12th, planets break the boundaries of their natural significations, and they become super powerful in the sense that they can cover a wider area of their own natural significations.
Below are just some examples
-----------------------------------
Sun in 11th - The person is able to play about with his soul. He can take any belief to his own advantage and make it his own to achieve the full benefit.
Moon in 11th - The person's intuitivity is so strong that it borders on telekinetic powers.
Mercury in 11th - The person soaks up knowledge. All the lockstep process of getting knowledge is circumvented and the person just leaps onto higher knowledge bypassing all his sensing mode.
Venus in 11th - The person gives his love freely and affections to others freely or he may unusual conditions on others before he bare his 'soul' (the 'soul' refer to here is for Venus and not the Sun where we wear our vulnerability in our sleeve for those we trust, hoping the other person would reciprocate).
Mars in 11th - The person can influence groups through unusual means rather than the usual command control and control tactics. Charisma may be involved.
Jupiter in 11th - A Guru with precepts mostly taken on how to win rather than on how to get the grace of God.
Saturn in 11th - No drudgery involved to get gains successfully which is not in line with the general character of Saturn.
Rahu in 11th - Only Rahu stays true to his colours in the 11th. Notwithstanding that, Rahu here enhances its altruism more than in other positions.
Ketu in 11th - Since Ketu shows the strong bond or tie for certain things, in the 11th, the person gets bonded to various things whether it is a procedure, a system or faith etc. so long that it leads to gains. A network of beliefs form in the person's mind.

What i red was,the 11th house planets or the 11th lord always gives two contradictory results. One is positive and the 2nd one is negative in nature.Like the 8th house its the another mystic house in giving results.

Re: 11th Bhava : Where Planets loses their Natural Significations
Where are yoiu getting this information from?? I think it is not true about 11th house.
I have many charts with Moon in 11 - where the person does not show any special intuition or other power like telekinetics. what is telekinetics? I never heard of it before. Is it some new rubbish?
One person has lagna lord Moon in 11 house. Very strong minded but not intuitive or anything, otherwise it is very easy for them to become astros I thin you better check on the facts before posting stuff.

Jyod :
The point about the 12th house enhancing the planetary signifcations is in the scriptures and has been discussed many times in this blog and other websites. Please search either in this blog or in other websites.
For example, Sun in the 12th enhances all natural significations of the Sun. For example, Vladamir Putin, George Bush, Tony Blair all have etc. all have 12th house Suns. They were once the triad ruling the world.
Suresh Chandar :
And because 11th is the 12th of the 12th, the natural signications of the planets get cancelled. But since 11th is the house of gains, the natural significations of the planets get cancelled in the sense that it gets bloated up, breaking the boundaries of the original natural signifcations.
And the above like I said is only examples. Why does it not apply to all people? For one thing we have to consider other things foremost of which is the dwadarsamsa portion which the planet is in. Like what Shilpa said, the 11th house is the last material signification house (12th is moksha), so planets here enjoy the full force of all the material world has to offer. Although in Jyotish nothing gets cancelled, sometimes the material signification of one being that powerful, only in the 11th, may eclipse another material signification which the planet also pulls in (I would not call these the planets' natural significations as I have already mentioned in this thread).
Thus the post on the 12 portions of the Dwardasamsa posted by Barbara Pijan in her website and which was discussed in this blog, becomes DOUBLY IMPORTANT. The planets tends to give EXTRAORDINARY VIBRATIONS relating to the dwardasamsa portion which it is in (why not pada etc?....also does but dwardasamsa has to do with material significations, more thant any of the other divisional concepts of jytotish as it relates to the material aspects of life at the Rasi Chart level - but having said this, aspects pada, nakshatra placements also have their effects but the planets use all these in a warp way). Spirituality in the 11th, however, tends to come only after the person has satisfy has material aspects like Bali - but there are exceptions as the 11th house also stands for "Education Abundance". Spirituality obtained here can also be a very high order.
The 2nd portion of Dwardasamsa in the 11th bhava which relates EVEN MORE to the material aspects of life more than the other 11 portions of the Dwardasamsa of the 11th bhava is stated as :
The person gets both goods and evils. There is general prosperity.
And lastly, Suresh Chandar, I appreciate if you have further clarification of my thinking process, do not offhand tell me about thinking through before I do any posting. As an astrologer, you should know more than any other vocation, Vedic Astrology is a complex subject, and not everyone thinks alike and there are may factors to consider, and each factor is subjected to a lot of interpretation, sometimes it may not be straight offhand from the scriptures. Deducction, induction etc. are involved. Discussion is a boon for some, yet may be a bane for others too, depending on the caliber of each person. I have a strong Mercury in the 11th which signifies knowledge, and Venus the disposito is aspected by both the Lagna Lord and the 5th lord, a yoga for making headway in any field the person chooses.
Mercury in the dwardasamsa of clothes and ornaments, has made me fascinated with ornaments.
Maybe because of my Mercury, my thinking process has run the gamut of the full range of the thinking process on various subjects, and because of the tight square between Mercury and Jupiter, Vedic Astrology seems to be the main subject.
Krishna has Jupiter in the 11th. But he is the lord and no further spirituality seeking is required of him. His incarnation on Earth was to seek a win-win situation for all mankind.

Re: 11th Bhava : Where Planets loses their Natural Significations
Khoo Hock Long, astrology is full of contradictions and everyone including you has to acknowledge that. As you said, 11 house is 12th to 12th but at the same time 12th house is 2nd to 11th if we take 11th as focal point or lagna. Then why only losses and expenses are seen in 12 house? Even if as you say, planet loses its natural significance in 11 (but gains in 12?? this is all very confusing). even then, the 12th house matters do not change very much.
What you fail to consider is that we're under the influence of planets but planets themselves are under the influence of milky way galaxy, billions of stars and the universe. Which means you MUST take into account Nakshatras and their effects. Any analysis without that is incomplete astrology. GRanted you may not have knowledge of nakshatras, thats OK. But the Brahmand or universe with its billions of stars is fully upon us, and it affects Sun, moon, planets, everything. Thats the whole cosmic background.
You need to understand that solar system was born from a new star i.e. sun, but it is only one among many systems in Milky way galaxy, which is just 1 galaxy and nearby stars that we can observe from earth. There are thousands of such galaxies in the universe, and there are certainly more universes than one. So that is what makes up the constellations, their peculiar characteristics, and how they exhibit them. Merely looking at the planets, placements, aspects, etc. is not enough according to me.

The George Bush I am referring to is George H W Bush, the father of George W Bush.
He is born in 1924.

Sorry it should be George W Bust who has a 12th house Sun. My mistake. The triad ruled together once.

Joyd
I bought a book from LtCol Raj Kumar.
He said that the natural house significations are spoilt but the planet's bhava karaka is enhanced.
So Sun in 12th gives positive results as if Sun is connected with the 1st, 9th or 10th. So Sun in 12th gives a father which is dharmic, for example.
But Sun's natural significations like its represention of father's health is bad.
Similarly Sun in 12th gives a good career generally but the person can struggle spiritually.
But in my case Jupiter undergoing Vipareet Raja Yoga is contacting the Sun, so everything I said is reversed for my case. But because my Sun is involved in a Vishnu Yoga, the bhava significations are also saved by Vishnu.

Khoo- i like to brief you on this point. The err was you should not mention the 11th house and its matters in this post.If you want to say that planet in 12th acts like a divine[GOD] particle and strengthen the horoscope & such a 12th acts as cyclotron[pertain to nuclear physics only and not for any other branch of science] for that planet. There is a strict clause, that the 12th house placed planet must be more than 5 BAV .In your post you hide all these things and made us in a state of coma.

Re: 11th Bhava : Where Planets loses their Natural Significations
Okay....the 11th and 12th bhavas are two separate ideas. Should not be in the same post. The 11th bhava I am talking about planets' natural significations getting cancelled. But in view of what I later on said about the 12th bhava, it should be the planets' bhava karaka natural significations getting cancelled, so Sun in the 11the would spoil the bhava karaka significations of the Sun for the 1st, 9th and 10th.
Sun in 12th, on the other hand for example, would enhance the bhava karaka significations of the Sun for the 1st, 9th and 10th, but like what you said, on the condition that the 12th bhava placed planet must be more than 5 BAV. On the other hand, Sun placed in the 12th would lose its natural significations quality regardless of the BAV.

Hi Khoo,
Rahu in 11th - Only Rahu stays true to his colours in the 11th. Notwithstanding that, Rahu here enhances its altruism more than in other positions.
Can you explain this a bit please, about Rahu in 11H.
