What is Saturn's Maraka Dasha and how dangerous it is ?
I have Libra ascendent and Saturn in 12 th house so Maraka Planet should be Mars but one famous astrologer told me that your present Saturn Dasha is a Maraka Dasha. Is it true ?

Sat is not maraka but it may not give you good results.
The reason for the same is:
1. Sat is posited in 12H with LL/8L Ven and 3L/6L Jup. So there is influence of 6H/8H on this Sat.
2. Sat is debi in D-9.
3. Sat is in the nak of Moon which is debi in D-9
So though Sat is YK for Libra Asc but it is relatively weak in your chart. But certainly it is not a maraka.

So is the Saturn mahadasha of a saturn placed in aries is maraka Sasha for a Libra ascendant? Saturn moves to the 8th house in the bhava chart. Lagna is in 1 degree libra. Lagna is vargottama in Navamsa, dasamsa and a few other d charts
