Attracting jealousy in one's chart?

What are some alignments that may indicate a person may attract jealousy? I personally have mars in cancer in the 11th house, moon in the 12th, and sun/jupiter in the 1st. From my own understanding, mars in cancer is an indicator of jealously. However, I've also read that Durudhara Yoga with mars and jupiter will cause the native to be harrased by foes.

I should also add that I have a retrograde saturn in the sixth house.

Jealousy is a rather common state that most people can suffer from (towards others) or become the subject of. The more accomplished one becomes, the more one becomes the target of other people's envy and jealousy. That said, in some individuals it becomes a rather prominent trait both in the sense of being jealous towards others, or becoming the target of. Price of prominence for the recepient, I suppose Whether it would be to a destructive extent, would seem to be subject to dashas and transits during which enemies (VI) could adversely affect ones occupation/profession or good name (character assasination) etc. So the associated astrological factors need to be looked at, I suppose. Quite different from this is jealousy as a trait, which tends to be more persistent and arises from insecurity which is a defect or weakness obviously! This would point towards a weakness or malefic associations with the indicators of the 1st, 4th primarily. A strong and happy (at peace with oneself) moon and sun help diminish this destructive trait of unrest and poison for the nativity as well as those he or she comes in contact with. Shakespere had associated the trait with gender, but those were sexist times, obviously, and societies and social rules, responsibilities, opportunities were dramatically different and may not be meaningful in modern context.

So how does one become at peace with moon and sun? I don't even work yet and I already feel that I possess some traits that attract enmity from certain people. I have rahu in the 4th and ketu in the 10th. Does mars or saturn affliction to 7th lord have anything to do with it? Also what is badhakesh?

According to Prashna Marga, based on Varahamihira, following are the Badhaka Rashis for each Lagna -

Lagna - Badhaka Rashi

Aries - Aquarius
Taurus - Capricorn
Gemini - Sagittarius
Cancer -Taurus

Libra - Leo
Scorpio - Cancer
Sagittarius - Gemini
Capricorn - Scorpio

If the Badhakesha is in 6th or 8th house (I am not sure about 12th house), it is said to attract jealousies and ill-wishes of people. If the Badhakesha is afflicted with malefics, then the effect is said to be more pronounced.

There is a further elaboration of the concept of Badhakesha. After ascertaining the basic condition given above, more elaborate conditions of Badhakesha can be determined.

However, I have not analysed charts from this angle so far. Other senior chart readers on this site can give more detailed readings about jealousies and ill-wishes attracted by Badhakesha.

In the 1st post in this thread, the Lagna seems to be Aries and Saturn the Lord of Aquarius is in 6th. So, according to the Badhakesh theory, this can attract ill-wishes of the people in one's environment. However, 6th house is also the best house for Saturn. Hence, it needs to be ascertained whether the Badhakesh theory will be applied here.

In the last chart details given above, Libra Lord Venus is the Badhakesh and is placed in 8th house. Again, this fulfils the basic condition of Badhakesh theory. However, Venus is debilitated in 8th, which makes the 8th house weak and hence, is not a bad placement. Again, it is to be determined whether Badhakesh theory applies here.

No, Badhakesh should be in 6th or 8th for the jealousies to take effect.

Well, if you have debilitated Rahu-Ketu in 4-10th axis in Sagittarius-Gemini, then your problems are because of debilitated Rahu-Ketu, not because of jealousies of people.

A malefic Rahu can bring hidden enemies who come as friends and relatives but turn out to be harmful.

You need to get a priest to recite Durga Saptashati every Navaratra and pray to Lord Ganesha daily.

The significations of 1st and 7th houses will make the difference.

However, certain common features of Rahu such as hidden enemies, taking wrong decisions, instability in life etc and impulsive, lethargic nature of Ketu with inability to take action and sudden outburst of temper at the right time will remain the same.

If Rahu is in Lagna or in 10th house, it will not be as much malefic, though it may still make the native take wrong decisions in life, for which s/he may suffer.

Yes, I meant 1st and 7th houses and their Nakshatra and planetary associations.

Rahu-Ketu can be extremely benefic when placed in right houses and right signs - for example, when Rahu is in 6th and Ketu in 12th and when they are in Kendra or Trikona houses in their exaltation, Moolatrikona or Swa Rashis.

The important point is that Rahu-Ketu in the above mentioned signs should be in Kendra or Trikona houses to give benefic results. In all other signs, Rahu should be 6th and Ketu should be 12th to give benefic results - in the latter case, Rahu seems to be more consistent than Ketu.

No but I meant that I read that Ketu in Gemini is supposed to give you opposition from other people or jealousy from distant relatives or social circles.

As Saindhavi ji has pointed out my Badhakesh Saturn is Exalted in 6th House with Lagna and 6th House lord Libra. Maybe that is giving birth to jealousy to people around me. Not sure if Lagna Lord and 6th Lord Venus has any role but 6th Lord in 6th can give enemies too- correct me if I am wrong. I am a Taurus Asc.

Suppose two of us are equals say financially, with each one being say lakhpatis, if the other becomes karodpathi or more, if I feel for it it is jealously.
But if there are others who are intellectually poorer but go higher than me due to push in their case for example, if I feel bad about it it is not jealousy at all. I know they are fools who got themselves to higher position due to greed which made them influence people and not by intelligence or hard work.
I can continuously feed bad about their state and may even feel happy when they suffer. This is not because I am jealous or sadistic but because strange things happen in kaliyuga.
If everyone got immediate punishment for his wrong deeds and everything happened as per dharma, everything happened perfectly, ie the output was entirely based on the input, without dragged previous janma accounts too ( about which we are unaware), then why would we have such a feeling for them?

Yes, you know which houses represent family, which one your profession, and then your business colleagues and so on like 6 and 10 for profession, 2,7 and 8 for family, 7 for business and so on and corresponding planets. You also know about maternal uncles represented by ketu and so on. So whenever there is affliction to these planets and these houses and when moon is weak, the person could be vulnerable ie people could be jealous of him, the same, when the person is mentally strong but has affliction can get jealous of others. IMO this is the general rule.
