Is Badhakesh seen from Lagna or Rasi?

Please enlighten if the Badhakesh is seen from Lagna or Rasi?

Dear Caliber,

I believe, from the rashi of the lagna.

Following is an excerpt (pertaining to your query) from an article I came across which might help you. It says,

Badhak or Badhakesh are Secret Obstruction in the Life which are un-explaianble to the Native .

Badhakesh or Badhak can be found on the basis of the Lagna's placement in a Fixed, Movable or dual sign :

(1) if Lagna is in a Fixed sign then the 9th lord becomes badhakesh and the Planet in the badhak house or 9th house become badhak planet who giving obstruction or Creating problem related to the position of the Badhakesh or Nature of the Badhakesh Planet or Badhak Planet ,benefic or Malefic planet.

(2)If Lagna is in a Movable sign then the 11th house becomes the badhak house and the lord of the 11th house becomes the Badhakesh planet and the Planet in the 11th house becomes badhak Graha.

(3)If Lagna Is in a Dual sign then the 7th house becomes the Badhak House and 7th lord becomes the Badhakesh planet and The Planet in the 7th house becomes Badhak Planet.

Type of Obstruction or Problem depends on the Position of The Badhakesh in the Chart or affliction to the 12th house from Badhakesh Graha in the Chart.

There cant be two badhakesh, it could be either sun or venus.

It can be seen from lagna, chandra lagna, surya lagna, arudha lagna, paka lagna, and atmakaraka as lagna.
