Tithi planetary lords? from where?
I read various astrologers online (and see in videos) mention Tithi lords. Even most astrology software shows a graha ruling a tithi - like Panchami = Jupiter, Pratipat = Sun, etc. But I see two different schools of thought on which graha rules which tithi... A popular one has Nanda Tithi ruled by M...

Re: NAVAMSA and number of relationships
Yes generally the second house is the next relationship, (because it is 8th from the 7th) then 9th house (8th from 2nd) is third relationship, etc.. But if someone gets another serious relationship without loss (breakup / death...) of first spouse, like in the case of polygamy - then the 9th is the ...

Re: How far predictions come true for those who were born by C-Section?
Astrostar, it s true I Jhora isn't the best/easiest software for someone using bhava cusp degrees and things like KP system. Of course the information is there in Jhora, but harder to utalize and not so simple to see at once without having to click many tabs/pages, like you said: the Presentation of...

Re: How far predictions come true for those who were born by C-Section?
Astrostar is correct that the old man who said predictions can't be done for C-section baby's was wrong. Astrostar, I too was wondering why you said Jhora is not useful for predictions, you replied to tejomaya saying it is your opinion - but that does not answer the question. Your opinion must have ...

Re: There's something wrong with Ashtakavarga...
Dev, Yes, I - and I'm sure many others, even yourself - have encountered many "astrologers" with only basic knowledge who would proclaim that the debilitated planets must be weak and giving terrible results. I would just say thank you, then move on and ignore the reading, knowing how wrong they are....

Re: There's something wrong with Ashtakavarga...
Dev thanks for sharing that , and it helps my belief that anyone who uses ashtakavarga the simple way like: "a planet with a score of 5+ will deliver good results" or "any house with 30+ will give benefic results, and a house with much less will always be weak" are flat wrong. I know the learned ast...

Re: Questions regarding Dagdha Rashis ...
Hey Vivek, yes this was in 2014 and sadly, all that I've concluded is that to me: the dagdha rashi concept has not worked well enough to be a trusted technique. Note: I said "for me", since I understand there could be others that use the concept and get better results somehow with it. Like how some ...

Re: Software to find yogi and avayogi
It is in Jhora if you right-click on the main page in the window to the right side where it shows the list of planet degrees+information. Then after right-clicking, go through the menu and you'll see near the bottom of the list: "Yogi, Sahayogi and Avayogi planets" . Click that, and it will display ...

Re: Ayanamsa
Another great way to test, is if you can find a bunch of charts with plants at 0-1 degree in the Rasi chart, then see what results those planets give once they change back a sign in Fagan ayanamsa. Especially helpful to judge if the person is in - or has been in - the mahadasha of the planet which c...

Re: Will I have a career ?
Looks to me like you should go abroad. It will be beneficial. Take the opportunity, as it seems not only is it what you want, but the chart has several combinations / yogas for one who goes abroad. It's worth a try to go, especially since you say you have received an opportunity. Especially while ju...

Yes Thrawn, all very correct. Thank you for those points. He is pretty much all focused just on making money (taking extra work hours + work on holidays to get paid triple) and watching spots and buying new TV/entertainment system upgrades. He thinks I'm strange for being into astrology, and doesn't...

Re: Panchmahapurush yogas Versus other yogas
Thank you RV Ramanan , I will tell him, and advice the help for his Jupiter. Issue is, he's not religious or spiritual at all and likely won't pray or do mantra's. Something that confuses beginner astrologers when they see moolatrikon jupiter in 4th house and his 9th lord in lagna! also, In 2013 he ...

Re: Panchmahapurush yogas Versus other yogas
My cousin's chart has hamsa yog, but I'm sure there must be some cancellation going on...as they do not have much status in life, average income, no "raj yoga" really at all. Even now in Jupiter dasha, they just live the average workman life and nothing spectacular happening, besides marriage this y...

Re: Which ayanamsa is true ?
Just wanted to agree with some of the above posts and say in my experience too Chitrapaksha / Lahiri hasn't seemed to be working 100% (or even 80% to me) either. I spoke to one 'professional' astrologer (in real life, not someone online) who used Lahiri, and would tell me that for readings "all dash...

My Ashtama Shani was great. Saturn in virgo (8th from my moon) was some of my better years recently. No health issue, nothing really negative that I can remember happened. I do recall working on projects with friends and having fun in my career, my parents home (I was there at the time) was renovate...

Re: Passed away aged 36.. what could have been the problem?
And for the sake of other members to see - here are just 4 charts (one of each kind of combination with moon in the same oddity as lagna) : 2 male, 2 female. This is enough to show lagna+moon can be in the same oddity. if you need more examples, then I direct you to my above post where I say "what w...

Joyd that's the most bullshit response in the history of LOVA. You apparently gave the answer 'right away' but then said the website did not send it. So it was never your plan to make me wait. Or you're a liar initially and never actually typed a response and tried to blame it on the website malfunc...

So, any answer? There really is zero reason for taking so long for this.... other than you don't have the answer and are hoping I'd forget this thread. Thus, I guess we other members can assume that the sentence : " As a rule any ones lagna should fall in odd signs from moon ` was false and a mistyp...

Re: Passed away aged 36.. what could have been the problem?
Sorry for interrupting, but I must ask: Joyd, what do you mean what do you mean when you say: "As a rule any ones lagna should fall in odd signs from moon" ? Sounds as if you are saying no one can be born with moon+lagna both as even, or both as odd signs, which if course we all know is not true. So...

My mother has it in her d7 lagna , as does my cousin who has 2 kids (boy+girl), so progeny was there. JoyD, which ayanamsa are you using, or how are you calculating karakamsa? Same with moon (not in 10th). it i as if you are seeing Pisces ...
