One remedy for extremely tough situation

Dear all,

My husband and I have been undergoing a very hard time. He is sick, we have to move continents and we still don't know how he will do in the future. His prognosis is not great (going by statistics) and from what little I see our planets combined are not helping to make this any better ...

Re: In disbelief regarding health

Hi shilpa - thx for replying again. Am a bit confused as the chart I have for my husband actually shows debilitated moon as lord of the 6th house, not 12th. Is my chart incorrect? In his lagna, sun and lagna lord saturn are in the 6th house (in karka).

Re: In disbelief regarding health

Vedicmaths - we are doing all the medical stuff of course. The kind he has shows up everywhere - staging is not too prognostically relevant. We will also be starting treatments -just needed some non medical perspectives on what was going on. I don't know much about vedic charts but have heard it is ...

Thanks for the replies. It is lymphoma and I am really stunned as the kind he has does
Not normally occur in people under 60. I am also really concerned as he is going into a moon mahadasha very soon. Can this time be fatal for him? Is moon a killer planet in his horoscope. Any insights are welcome ...

Paying it forward to remove doshas for future generations?

Dear members,

I have noticed strains of doshas in my/my husband's/my parents charts that seem to carry forward. Eg: Doshas in my dad and mom's charts are seen in mine and now, I have seen them in my children's charts as well. I have read that doshas carry forward seven generations before they are ...

Wow something to think about then. Maybe a different kind of healer instead of a straight up medical doctor. Thanks Shilpa.

Re: Saturn-moon parivartan AND mutual aspect impact

So they just go back to the proverbial square one :) but am I right? Does that 8th house aspect indeed cause the desire to become a healer? I started to read more about this aspect because one fine day a few months ago all I could think of was that my life will be wasted if I don't become a doctor ...

Re: Saturn-moon parivartan AND mutual aspect impact

Fabulously put. If a planet aspecting it's own house is 50% swakshetra will that not be true of shani-moon in my chart? So on the one hand the parivartana is not good but what about the drishti?

I am trying to understand this particular exchange because of my unreasonably strong desire to quit ...

Re: Saturn-moon parivartan AND mutual aspect impact

Thank you for taking the time to reply Shilpa, appreciate it. So I guess my next question is - how to contain and overcome this yoga? Are there any solutions? You will see from my chart that chandra does not have any positive aspects, but the degrees of shani dev and chandra are quite far apart. Is ...

vegetarianism is not hard, I just worry about protein from a health perspective but some conscious choices can be effective substitutes.

Re: Ways of strengthening a weak Budh

Trying to understand why non-veg is to be avoided. Seems like the some of the brightest non-Indian people around the globe eat meat.

(not challenging vegetarianism, just wondering why it is not advised)

Saturn-moon parivartan AND mutual aspect impact

Dear astrologers,

In a birth chart, if Sani-Chandra are involved in a parivartan and mutual aspect does this indicate the two planets behave as if in their own houses? The more I read and investigate the more convinced I am that this could indeed happen.

For instance, in my own chart, Sani and ...
