Re: Ishta devata

Re: Ishta devata

Suppose someone is interested in the roles of Lord Jesus and Lord Krishna in his religious/spiritual path.

He prefers to look at the 5th house for clues about the Ishta Devata.

In the natal chart, the 5th house is in Pisces with Jupiter and the Moon present.

What's your interpretation?

Ninth House

In his book, Vedic Astrology Simply Put," William Levacy writes that, among other things, the ninth house signifies "God".

Is this commonly accepted among Vedic astrologers?

Does anyone know a Vedic astrologer who uses D20 chart to find the ishta devata?

Does anyone know a Vedic astrologer who identifies Christian corollaries to Hindu ishta devatas?

Re: Ishta Devata and Associated Planet

Thanks.

Neither Durga nor Lakshmi resonate with me.

If Rahu and Ketu aren't used to identify the atmakaraka then why should they be used to identify the ishta devata? Can I use the ruler of the house/sign that Rahu is in instead?

Anyone know of a Vedic astrologer who uses D20 instead of D9 to ...

Ishta Devata and Associated Planet

I'd like to have my Ishta Devata and associated planet identified by Vedic astrology.

My birth details are:

10/22/1950
7:44 am
Hartford, CT USA

It'd be nice to know which chart technique was used in developing your answer.

Thanks.
