I read that for a curse to happen two malefics, should aspect or conjunct, for sun, moon, rahu, it's just rahu , so is this how we look at it.

So, it is 8th Lord always. Anytime, period of 8th Lord occurs, curse will manifest. But, I read somewhere, the curse manifests only in main chart. So, D9, 8th Lord?
