I was referring only D1 for his chart. As per D1, his merc and venus are in 10th house in virgo. Could you pls elaborate on your analysis bcz his merc is showing in H9 as per details i have with me?

Sorry to intrude - I had posted a chart in career section and surprisingly both alchemist and the native whose chart I had posted have most of the similar planets. And he also has many planets placed like alchemist - 10th lord Merc exalted in 10th with venus, Lagna lord Jup in 11th, 2nd and 3rd lord ...
