Re: What is the best way to live, for weak lagna ppl?

Lagna and lagna lords in whose nakshatra they are placed, atidevata of that can be deeply worshipped, for eg if mercury, Lord Vishnu and chanting VS regularly 2 or 3 times a day could help apart from high level donations to deserving - handiicapped, destitutes, gau , anath ashram and so on and also...

Re: What is the best way to live, for weak lagna ppl?

Twi golden rules to live a better life for such people: 1. Wake up at Brahma muhurata or atleast before sunrise and do gayatri everyday as a niyam. This activates lagna and gayatri strengthens it. Sun gets strength in lagna this way. Nitinji, न गायत्र्यात् परो मन्त्रः I didn't reply to this point e...

Re: What is the best way to live, for weak lagna ppl?

Thank you Dev ji and Nitin ji. Regarding pt 2, if there are no planets in the Rashi lagna, can we do japa for the devataa corresponding to the planet posited in lagna in Navamsa?

And if Gulika/Maandi is present in lagna in Rashi, then to which devataa should we pray to?

Thank you Nitin ji for the response.

By the way, your writing style reminds me of someone whom I've hugely respected, for his profound spiritual thoughts, in this forum in the past :) Hope you won't mind.

Re: Does this constitute Sakata Yoga?

The repetition of yoga needs to be checked in divisionals to be applicable in that particular area of life. Otherwise it's only individual planetary play that gives results. Thanks Nitin ji. So you would not consider the above to be a full Sakata yoga, given the parivartana yoga also involving Moon...

What is the best way to live, for weak lagna ppl?

It seems to be the fate of people with weak lagna, or weak lagna lord, to be overruled by others, and to be forced to live as per the decisions of others. This is particularly so in case if the lagna is ruled by a benefic. So how should the people with weak lagna live their life?

Leo Lagna, Jupiter in 5H, Moon in Aries, Mars and Ketu in Cancer. There is a parivartana between Moon and Mars.

Why do you say so, that 10th house Mars is illogical, argumentative?
Please would you brief it ?
How then if both spouses have Mars in the tenth? Will this lead to constant argumentation?

7th Lord and having many wives

I read a BPHS sloka that states that when the 7th lord is in debilitation, the native will have many wives. But there is another sloka that states, when the 7th lord is exalted, the native will have many wives. How should these slokas be interpreted?

Re: Can I listen to Gayatri Mantra chant any time?

Hi Dev, In my understanding, this practice, among other things, increases the ATHMABALA in the practitioner. If we take the example of your father, even as he faced challenges from various quarters, he had this inner strength to continue with his life work in other areas, for the benefit of society....

Re: Can I listen to Gayatri Mantra chant any time?

The below excerpt from the life of a south indian saint might be pertinent in this context. "Ornce over forty brahmins from the area Vanniya Teynampet in Chennai came to have darshan of Maha Periyavaa. After their obeisance to the sage, they expressed their common mental agony: that brahmins were no...

Re: Can I listen to Gayatri Mantra chant any time?

That is the sad truth...you can also say that, the past bad karma of many - present day brahmins cloud their awareness and make them neglect their nitya karma. And as though proportionately, the status of brahmins in society has also reduced considerably.

Devi Bhagavatham says in one place, if the brahmin doesnt do Sandhya worship, he will be reborn as a fox or some such animal....while explaining how essential a duty it is.

Re: Can I listen to Gayatri Mantra chant any time?

We have to follow what the scriptures say. Many scriptures emphatically declare that the primary duty of the initiated dwija (brahmana, kshatriya, vaishya) is to recite the Savitri in the Sandhya periods and if he doesnt do it, he becomes fallen, incurring the sin called pratyavaya. I suggest referr...

Re: Can I listen to Gayatri Mantra chant any time?

For a Brahmin initiated to the Savitri, its recital in the twilight periods is a nitya karma. Not performing the nitya karma will entail a dosha called pratyavaya. Hence I would suggest reciting it in the evening twilight period. This mantra should be recited / muttered without anyone else hearing y...

Yes Sir, the more powerful (in worldly terms) they are, the bigger their fall will be, and (in most cases) the more unbearable the fall will be. We see this in our politicians..... someone who used to be unrivalled champion of his caste / fiefdom / community, extremely powerful in his day, gets dump...

Re: Theory on debilitation and what actually causes Neechabhanga (A scientific view)

In my experience, the problems caused by the debilitated planets never cease to exist in life - however the planet causing neechabhanga will ensure that the problem is almost always managed and mitigated. There will be periods when the planet causing neechabhanga goes retrograde in transit, and that...

Re: Deity who punishes immediately

If they have wronged you or hurt you then they are bound to suffer too, whether you pray or not. So why waste time and energy praying for that? But if you want immediate results, so that you will get the satisfaction of revenge, then, logically speaking, you need to pray that the person should go on...

Re: Hey guys! Who has a Saturn moon conjunction or has any thoughts on it?

This is a combination found in the horoscopes of many spiritual persons. Ex: Swami Vivekananda. Their lives speak for themselves (on the early trauma before the much later realization) - this does not mean everyone with this combo should necessarily turn the spiritual path.

Re: Saturn mahadasha - anybody has Saturn on 8th house

Hello Sudhi, When you say illusions, Rahu comes first to my mind. "Just when Saturn MD was approaching he was attracted to a new job....." Just before Sat MD is when we have Jup - Rahu period. It seems to me that you are wrongly attributing to Sat, the natural delusory mindset instilled by Rahu. Nev...
